@@irhdaily The OCI card is a practical compromise and gives lifetime unlimited visiting/permanent residence in India. Likewise for security reasons these days, Canada prefers Canadian citizenship and not dual citizenship if an individual is involved in government work.

No India doesn't allow dual citizenship so if you wanna move to other country you have to renounce your citizenship
While India does not allow for dual citizenship. Indians abroad can apply for an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) or a PIO (Person of Indian Origin) card. OCI has almost all of the citizenship benefits except one cannot vote on an OCI. PIO is a little more restricted compared to OCI.
Can’t buy agricultural land land farmhouses and have to pay higher tex when they sold their property. Indian government should offer duel citizenship

There is Max Chernov Channel where he interview people from other countries like America and Australia living in India for around 10 year. They tell about how it is living in India, how it is different from west.
Indian talent pool is substantially bigger than Indians leaving India and I don’t wanna disrespect anyone but many of them who are leaving India are ones who failed in India and now finds a shortcut in their lives. Many of them who can’t compete in India get paid in western countries easily. 😅
Most of the immigrants from india comes from a Rich family, as one of the main reason is Indian Tax System! In India, Top 1% Wealthy population gives almost 65-70% of the total tax collected by the government! Whereas in Euporean Union, almost 40-50% of their population contribute to the tax uniformly! So, its a relief and quiet savings too if Rich people of India migrate to other countries! But its a very big loss for india..

Yeah, Delhi sucks. I've visited Delhi thrice, every time I've fallen ill because of poor air and pollution. That doesn't happen in southern, eastern or far northern parts of India. It sucks because I am an Indian, so my body is acclaimed to Indian conditions because I live in India. You know people there are screwed when even an Indian cannot handle Delhi.
India don't have dual Citizenship policy. Either you in or out of india.
Most migrate for jobs that how it has been since more than a decade the iits and engineering institutions has been skill development institutions for western companies... But i think it's gonna go down as recession is hitting western hemisphere and the market in India is growing I myself got the opportunity but the lifestyle I can maintain here is better then what I could have there...
I would be doing that soon, reluctantly and sadly😑, we waited 16 years on various visas. My reasons are for ease of mobility in Europe... Can you believe even Turkiye lets British in without visa, but Indian passport holder needs a bunch of visa, transit permits etc almost everywhere. Its slowly improving, but I can't wait another 16 years I think 😬.

India don't allow duel citizenship, I have taken british passport few years back and surrender my Indian passport, but Indianness don't go from me for ever! I am indian, India is my 'Janma Bhoomi' (birth place) and Britain is 'Karma Bhoomi' (work place) !

I think dual citizenship sucks (I mean it's my perspective). Think of Pakistan for example: every wealthy guy in Pakistan has got citizenship of Pakistan and citizenship of United Kingdom.
When something bad happens btwn India and Pakistan these levish class would run to England leaving behind the lower class communities behind. (This theory won't apply to westerners cuz of your economy but....)
Secondly those Indians who get citizenship of other countries would also tend to get back their Indian citizenship (after denouncing other) without more paperwork and time consuming process because the law allows citizenship if his/her parents are both Indian or paternal, maternal side.
