I am very concerned about the rampant racism and prejudice against people of Chinese descent caused by one sided media coverage (esp English speaking media). If we promote democracy, then we need to hear out all sides.
In the meantime India, Pakistan and China are still fighting for a piece of land what a shame and the piece of land both India and China fighting for belongs to Pakistan and a little bit belongs India, China on the other hand love to take things that don’t belongs to them what a shame what a damn shame!!! Don’t we all love being a Human this is what we been doing for the past 100’s and 1,000’s of years
Ask nepali, sri Lankas, bhutanese, myanmarese, Bangladeshi, pakistani, kashmiri and lastly Chinese what they feel about India in border. Please do. Don't be one sided. As far I know, both China and India have both expansionary ideology. It's just china is stronger than India right now, so they have to pay the price. If India>China, it would have been a different outcome.

The guy in the black T-shirt is well-spoken and gave nuanced answers to a complicated geo-political matter. I am very impressed with the group of people interviewed here.
That's becz there are interviewing in cities most people in cities are broad minded & whitewashed if they interview in rural areas they can get a completely different answer
Actually they picked who will give a better answer and be more educated and intelligent..they even could've cut parts of the people saying something hate abt china..actually people of our country are successfully and completely brainwashed by our worst, hate spreading, hypocritic media..and all are raging upon china and in some protests people are burning up the photos of xi jinping and some of chinese (only)smartphone companies..I'm so sad that this hate spreading media has won😖😖😞

What I’ve noticed from all these Indians interviews on Asian boss is how educated Indians are, if you ask the same questions in America you’ll barely get a response.
Whether it be U.S.A or India or any other country, the truth is that there are a lot of intelligent people and a lot of dumb people. A lot of hardworking people and a lot of opportunistic people. Reality is very different. There is huge polarity in india. This is one sided. A small area in a big city. This is not the representation of whole india.
The fact that it is extremely difficult for Asian Boss to have interviews in China actually tells you a lot about China views on free speech and media access.

To be honest, Chinese politics want to take everything. Vietnamese sea, part of vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong. Chinese people are nice, but chinese politics? Nah.
If you want to compare all the major countries in the 21st and 20th centuries, China has been one of the least forceful in terms of foreign policy, territorial disputes, and neoimperialism. Currently, China has good relations with Laos and Cambodia, improving relations with Vietnam, and they have only sought to maintain the status quo in terms of Hong Kong and Taiwan. You don't see Chinese soldiers invading countries around the world and causing hundreds of thousands of collateral deaths, for example. Just my honest opinion.

Vanshika Misra I’m a Chinese, living in China. Since you are studying in China, I think it would be better if you have a deeper understanding of Chinese government. I’m not saying Chinese government is perfect, but you should know that Chinese government, although different from other countries, also serves the people well. A lot of foreigners have strong prejudice against Chinese system because they don’t want to admit that a non-western system can also lead a country to rise. And for this border conflict, because I watch news from both sides, I think both have reasons. I personally think that the clash is because of so,e misunderstanding between China and India. Actually I don’t think Chinese government really want to hype up conflicts with India or provoke India because due to this coronavirus China is already facing a tough international geopolitical environment, being hostile to one more country will not benefit China. I was seriously not expecting this extent of sensibility. Lesson learned: Social media should not solely be seen to find what people actually are like. Edit after the replies : Nevermind...
I kind of disagree. They know nothing about China, its society and its people. Contrary to what the interviewees have said, the Chinese people are knowledgeable, do talk about this issue and have a huge say in determining the legitimacy of the government. The Chinese society is highly sophisticated and do know the nuances of the geopolitics going on. They also have wisdom in handling many of these issues. Just look at how they have withheld the numbers of casualties on their side. It is a move aimed at de-escalation unlike the Indian side who acts irresponsibly and impulsively, perpetuating fake news and all the time to its people and riling up its population even further, bringing the situation to an even more tense standoff. Look. I know the Indians keep pushing their version of the events but let's just look at facts. The conflict happened deep within Chinese controlled territory. Bodies of the Indian soldiers were found 600+ metres behind the Chinese line of control. Many Indian soldiers fell into a cold lake which caused their deaths. Do you know that there is only 1 body of water in the Galwan valley and that is about 600+ metres in Chinese controlled territory? So how is it that Indian media is saying that the Chinese have intruded in India when all the fighting and where the bodies were found is 600+ metres inside Chinese controlled territory? Those are facts that cannot be denied. Even the Indian PM has said that no Indian controlled territory have been intruded upon by the Chinese. So who is the aggressor in this particular incident? Who was the one who intruded and broke the commander level agreements? Another point to bring up is that if the fighting and deaths have occurred within Indian-controlled territory, how is it that India has no idea how many Chinese soldiers have died? How is it that no Chinese soldiers have been captured? On the other hand, it was the Indian army who had to go into Chinese controlled territory to retrieve the dead Indian solders' bodies. It was the Chinese who had captured 10 of the Indian soldiers and have returned them to India on goodwill. Despite all these hard facts, you see all the Indian interviewees simply talking the Indian media's version that China is the aggressor in this incident. Facts tell.
@@Eric-hz8qd you are right that we Indians have no idea about China, the facts you are telling are all correct but, I think you should do more research about this matter

As an Indian in their 20's i personally can attest to the fact that the younger generation in our country is much more in tuned with both internal and external issues compared to other countries. Also Indian's learn English from kg itself, also our parents speak English at home as much as hindi, Bengali, assamese, Marathi, telegu etc. Our accent may take time for outsiders to understand but English is our second language, no need to be so surprised. Secondly no one at this moment can afford war , but it really pains me to see the Chinese government's tactics at land grabbing, even during a pandemic. Both sides do know that it's not the people but the government who's at fault, but sadly it is our soldiers who pay the prize. RIP to soldiers from both sides. Love from India 🇮🇳

I'm getting an impression from the video that learning English is serious business in India. Minus the accent (which isn't all that pronounced) this is native level English proficiency.
We're taught English since preschool, all our textbooks are in English, conversations in schl mostly takes place in English and I personally think English is far easier than hindi or other languages.
Most study in english medium schools so knowing basic english is very common. Even in government schools which are mainly of native languages english subject starts from grade one.
I'm actually surprised at the very reasonable and educated responses. The fact that they realize the problem is the government, not the people, was impressive insight I did not expect. There are many suppressed voices in China that do not agree to the conflicts however they're not allowed to speak out.
Suppress voices? Lol China has already stated since the beginning they do not war, just peace, don't forget it was the indian border soldiers that went (aggression) into the disputed areas, not the chineee.

There were middle-class people from Mumbai, that is why they have that perspective. Most Indians from big and smaller cities are open-minded and would be considered left-wing or liberal. However the percentage of such people would be very less, perhaps we only number in the few millions. Politicians don't bother with us at all, there is a largely poor, uneducated wore bank that they exploit and don't bother to educate. There are many pseudo-intellectuals here. People who are born in a village or small town, educated ( getting a college degree) but still being very narrow-minded coz they are filled with right-wing ideology. So in India, you might see a bunch of middle-class people in the cities but only a handful will be well spoke or insightful coz their families too had those values or they changed over time. It's hard to describe or formulate in words. India is really a messed up country.

I don’t know what Indian government think of.
But anyway, I think even the worst peace is better than the best war! I’m glad that we have disengaged and had 4 rounds of negotiations. I really hope that this is the last clash between us!

indian more and more nazi,i hope india government don't be an idiot
Facts tell.
@@PakistanChinaFriendship Don't worry India not like Pakistan....

The fact that people are getting surprised at the fact that these people are so well spoken and articulate amuses me.

There were middle-class people from Mumbai, that is why they have that perspective. Most Indians from big and smaller cities are open-minded and would be considered left-wing or liberal. China: What’s mine is mine. What’s yours is negotiable.
I loved it 🤣
FACT.
🤣
This is exactly what India's forward policy is since the 1960s. That is why india was having deadly conflict with China Pakistan and Nepal at the same time in June.
You missed one thing that china owns the galaxy 😁
Many Chinese don't care about the territorial dispute because the media didn't cover it too much and most Chinese don't know about it.
How will they? Haven't you seen the extremity of CCP's censorship? CCP ain't even revealed how many Chinese soldiers have kicked the bucket, haha hahaha, CCP keeps the Chinese in cloud cuckoo land.
你活在梦里吧,谁不知道,只是不在乎而已。
No, most of medias did , but the things is not key in China. I mean China is winner , so the people in China don't care that.
@@nnconfomiststoic888 HaHa , I think the CCP don‘t want to make the thing bigger

Wow indians are so insightful
Now don't judge so easily it's a big country and most indians are not like that

The educated ones are insightful and the latter you can find below in the comments. All they can do is criticise and find problems to every solution.

I am not against Chinese people . They are as innocent as normal people of India . But chinese Government is just pure evil . My advice to you guys is to just read about chinese disputes with neighbouring countries . Their expansionist policies are pure evil .
Learn the history man, this is all problems left over from the colonial empire drawing random lines.
@@Lancemoolied Yeah when people have settled within the boundaries of a certain country then why ro disrupt the peace . India share border with one of the smallest country in the world (Bhutan ) and living peacefully with them on the other hand China (well I am tired )
Thanks for your kindness, my friend.
It was British, McMahon, who set us up.
The British is good at making conflict between nations. China and Indian have been peaceful neighbor for thousands of years.
@@rozernaroha3169 Because that line was arbitrarily drawn by the British without the Chinese agreement. And it was never disputed that it was Chinese territory until the British drew a line through it. And China never recognised that line. If India is noble, then India would not dispute China's claim to it. Nor should India dispute Kashmir's claim for independence cos that was another arbitrary line drawn by the British.
India is the country which didn't wage any war so far till date

Ahhh UA-cam is banned in China it’s unlikely most Chinese people can watch this.
I was wondering why also then I realized it was boycotting Chinese products. They also banned Tic Tok and I am sure others. I also was concerned of people destroying their China made products. I said “don’t destroy!!!!, they already got your money!!!!!” 😞😞
I am watching. But still can’t understand (most Chinese people as well) don’t understand why did India start the dispute. Cause to be honest, nobody cares India border.
