Since the repair requires the removal of the intake manifold, you should replace your starter motor while you have access to it, especially if you have a high mileage vehicle. Also the hot antifreeze leaks on the your starter which my cause your starter to later fail.

This is so common and a pain in the ass that if I replace a starter on them, I always try to sell the heater pipe as well. Sometimes the small hoses depending on the age and mileage.

Can the housing be done from the bottom instead of taking the intake manifold out? I’m just replacing my thermostat housing soon and thanks for your video and help!

I see that the bolts for the housing were rusted as well! Were you and the team able to successfully remove the housing? Or did it require any special tools? My topmost bolt is rounding off and there is hardly any head considering the size....looking for some tips :)
