Jesus was successful on earth because He was close to God. That is the secret to intimacy with God. There are no formulas, except one: closeness with God. This involves: (1) Spending quality time with God in prayer, worship, and His Word. (2) Soaking in God's Word and staying rooted in God's Word. (3) Learning to hear and know God’s voice. (4) Being trained in obedience to God's Word and voice. And (5) Learning to operate in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the same anointing that was upon the Lord Jesus Christ in his ministry.
Grateful that Dr. Stanley's words are with us still.

And then I moved down here to Texas and they did not have him on TV down here
And I was listening to Billy Graham sermons
And all I did was think to myself I wish I could hear Charles Stanley again and I seen him on my phone the next day

When I come across Dr Charles Stanley videos, it always makes me smile. I was speaking to the lord and I said” I don’t know what it is lord but when I hear him speak about you lord I always smile, get a sense of peace.” The lord responded it’s his light.
I have listened to Dr. Charles' sermons just this past year. All of them are for me...years after he preached them. I have found a legacy. Dr. Charles continues to minister to me daily. Just now I wanted to reach out and tell him so. Did not know of his passing.

Many times Charles Stanley will come right up first. (Probably because through the years I’ve listen to his teaching. ☺️) But it is always what I needed to hear. I have let projects and many other things take up my time. So this is what I needed today. I am very grateful for the ministry. Thank you for continuing to put these up. I think of Charles Stanley like a godly grandfather I never had.

Dr. Stanley always gave us (and he still gives us) in his sermons we are still blessed to hear, the HIGHER love of God! ❤ This love is based on intimacy with God. Charles had it and has it now! 🎉❤ And he blesses us with being HONEST about this incredible intimacy that he shared with God. Can I share this intimacy with JESUS? Oh, I hope so, but TIME with Him and LISTENING to Him are where I need to improve. May YOU help me, please, God. 🙏🏼 I love Charles Stanley…he is a stream of gentle water, constantly drawing us to the Father. Wait, that sounds like JESUS. ❤
