- One of the most common questions people ask is, “If God is a loving Father, why does He allow His children to go through painful and difficult trials?” In this sermon, Dr. Stanley explains how God uses trials to do several things including:
- Increasing our faith.
- Testing our devotion to God.
- Sanctifying us.
- Demonstrating His love and power.
- Producing a Christ-like spirit in us.
- Equipping us for a future task.
He also says there are 10 ways we can respond properly to trials in our lives. We must believe:
1. God is in control.
2. The Lord has a specific purpose for trials.
3. Our circumstances are designed to meet specific needs in our lives.
4. The trials will prove to be good if we respond in faith.
5. Difficulties can strengthen our faith.
6. God will help us demonstrate perseverance under pressure.
7. Struggles will develop Christ-likeness in us.
8. They will help us measure our spiritual walk.
9. God will be with us the entire way.
10. His grace and power will help us overcome them.
God doesn’t promise to explain everything to us. However, if we keep a godly attitude and ask for wisdom in our circumstances, we can prevail over our difficulties, gain a sense of peace, and arrive on the other side with greater faith and stronger relationship with our Heavenly Father.

I'm in the middle of a huge trial. I became bedridden 2 years ago after my car hatch came down on my head. Before that, I was in excellent health. Doctors couldn't figure out what was causing excruciating pain and they punctured my spine a few times, causing a spinal fluid leak. I've lost my health and can no longer get out of bed because they can't find nor plug the leak in my spine, and it causes debilitating pain if I don't stay lying completely flat. I'm praying God will help me to continue to have faith in Him. It's not easy as I've laid here for over 700 days in excruciating pain. Praying for healing! If you have the gift of faith or gifts of healings, please pray for me in Jesus' name. Thank you

The state you live in and the regional hospitals may not have the best drs ,reach out to the hospitals in NYC ,unless you've tried that already, there must be some hospitals that have the drs and technology to help you ,good luck and prayers that you recover .

In times of trials we need spiritual perseverance. Often we feel our strength diminish especially if we are alone in life. When one trial is over, we need to breathe, often we are not ready to face the next trial, there are so many in a lifetime. Still we have to turn to God in our weakness with prayers and wait for the Lord's timing. Thank you Pastor Charles Stanley for exhorting us and help us to understand the will of God. Frank, head knowledge of the Almighty God isn't enough. We need to have a personal relationship and personal encounter with God's Holy Spirit. And experiential knowledge in the spiritual realm. Eyes 👀 to see ears to hear. And identify the audible voice of God, or the still small voice of the Holy Spirit 🔥. Most mportantly identifying voices from our very own subconscious, God's and satan's. That is wisdom!

I ran to my Holy KJV Bible and just opened it up to start reading it out loud, to help me feel his Love! Mercy and Grace! Something inside my Heart, Soul and Mind became enlightened and I felt the Power 💥 of God' touch my life that day. Since then, I've stayed strong and faithful through all of my 3 full years of constant tests, difficulty and hardships and loss. I would Pray 🙏🏼 with tears flowing down my face, asking God through My Way Maker, King 👑 Jesus' to help me through The Holy Spirit 💫🕊️🙏🏼 to be Victorious over them all. I stayed in his loving arms of Peace, Tranquility, and faithfulness. I did my Holy Communion every Sunday morning 🌞 and gave him a Thankful Heart in Prayer throughout all of my trials. Now, I'm living in one of the best places in the city of Savannah, Ga it's called..The Rose Of Sharon Apts! ✨🙏🏼✨ 🌹 🕊️ A Beautiful Name of King Jesus' himself. I'm in The ❤️ Heart of Historic Downtown Savannah. My rent is just 1/3 it cost to live here and I don't pay for any utilities, except my cable provider now. Praise God' For He Is A Good Loving Father To His Faithful and Devoted Followers In Him and His Ways! Amen and Amen'😇🙏🏼✨ 🕊️ 🌹

One thing I have learnt in the Bible is to rejoice when I'm in the face of trials for the sake of Christ because I know that there is a reward waiting for me. Matthew 5:10 says, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
So, whenever opportunities present themselves, I just remember that there's a promise awaiting me and a cloud of witnesses are watching me, as well as the eyes of the Lord.

I just wrote down a prayer in a journal asking for God’s wisdom and this popped up! Praise Jesus! Thank you Charles Stanley for your bold Bible preaching! This sermon was what I needed (wisdom!)! And the prayer at the end has been my prayer for others that don’t know Jesus. Because He loves each and every one of us! Once nonbelievers put their trust in Jesus and realize it’s a real relationship with Him they’ll see He’s the real reason for living. He’s everything. He is our only hope and real joy. I praise Him for His Spirit! Even through my trials He invites me to have His peace that surpasses understanding, that strengthens my faith and endurance! I’m so confident His purposes are for my greater good even though it’s so hard. He is wonderful. He is mighty. He is lovely. Praise Your Holy name Jesus for your mercy, love and grace! I never imagined i would find real value in tech but we lost Dr and I am so thankful to have his legacy of videos. What an amazing disciple for Jesus.
