Just realizing how much use that car lift gets. With all the other cool additions, from paint booth to machining / metal working / welding tools... the lift has got to be the most useful, time saving one. Thinking back, it's being used almost every video. Wiring is for sure a huge deal at first, but yah, one at a time. Looking forward to seeing the end result!
The hoist is really one of the most cost effective additions to a garage. It makes so many things easier and on top of that it is also the cheapest extra car space you are ever going to get ;)
Love the new intro! Learn by doing is the way to do it. I have to keep telling myself not to overthink things and just get to work... slowly at first to build up confidence. And as you say if it's worth doing once it's worth doing twice :)
Love the new intro, all you need is a sound bite at the end saying "let's get the engine out, again!" Or "yeeeah, not really happy about that" to introduce what you're redoing. I would have liked to have seen you're soldering setup, as it's always a learning process how you see somebody makeup for not having 3 hands. Soldering is so uncomfortable.
When you get such a messy wiring diagram, it will become alot clearer to follow by just coloring all the connections in the correct colors. This takes a bit of prep time but it'll save alot of headaches and frustrations during the actual work.
Love the new intro and cut scenes mate awesome job has a bit of a mcm vibe to it. I'm currently in the middle of wiring my car up and it is definitely daunting especially if you start adding more to it like traction control etc.
I’ve seen some guys mount and wire a Link ECU before, great de pinning, loom building and a brilliant bracket, if only I could remember who they were……?
Nice work, for sure not something that everyone can do, anyway I did my swap with a 1.8t and I like everything to work if possible, my ac and power steering is all connected and working, my only issue right now is my traction control is still not hooked up and not sure on the color wire yet and where it needs to go to and my abs is not connected yet because coming from the engine I only have one wire but the car side as 3 abs wires, if you already done that and would like to share some input I would highly appreciate it. Thank you and keep up with the great work
Being ultra critical here (and probably caned for it) Intro is well done, but way to long, yes, I have a short attention spa...... Oh look, squire! The transition needs the first few and last few frames of black removed... Also needs a funky sound like the transitions had in the old Batman TV series.. And as an electrician, auto looms still scare me to this day, good job taking this on and nailing it

Oh god those glamour shots at the end of the ugliest porsche in the world. LOL thanks for reminding me of all the little details that allowed it to claim that title!
Nice new intro, like it!
The intro and the background music, it’s so Rodger Moore 007 type music
Loving the new intro graphics, very upmarket 👌👌👌. Keep the video's coming 👍🎥🎥🎥👍. Your skill levels are growing with each and every video. 👌🇬🇧🚗🚗🇬🇧👌
Could do with the audio normalising Jeff? It's very quiet compared to the actual video content. Love it though!
Love the intro. Love doing the wiring. Been at it for years. I get crazy OCD about it
I got a lot more confidence in wiring after watching Richard Brunning wire Binky.
Like the new video graphics throughout the video.
Flashy new intro - very nice! 😎
That new intro is fiiire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of my favourite UA-camrs ❤️
Excellent intro!!!!

Jase had the same problem with the loom.
Such fun! 🤪
Bad Obsession Motorsport guys said it well.
1 wire at a time and it's not too hard!

Great new Opening Titles, like them a lot!
I like the new music and graphics, good work
That new intro is awesome. You are a machine man, always pushing for better and better.
New introduction clip is super neato!!!!
New intro is great. getting serious now!
The intro! Glad I picked today to stop taking acid!
Awesome💪😅 enjoying all your builds from norway🤟 so many cool ideas.. not only Roxster, but all your cars😎
Oh shit! Jeff! the intro is AWESOME!

Love the intro, gives me similar vibes as on Benny's channel and I wonder if they were done by the same person!
And MCM!

Loving the new intro
Daunting is the word I'd use! You're a brave man. And bloody good visual colour acuity is a must, I'd guess.
Fancy intro Jeff, I like.
Yeah nice intro 👌
Great intro! Needs more volume :D
Yep, could barely hear it, but Nice and fresh!
Very Nice intro Jeff keep up the great work thanks for the wiring tips too.
Love the new intro Jeff
Congratulations on the new intro and transition art. Looks great!

I didn't solder anything, it is all crimping with Deutch connectors. Much quicker and better :D
Wiring is alot easier than people think, it’s just daunting and extremely time consiming.

Nice New intro, projects are ketting awsome
wow - you've gone all Discovery channel on the titles!
Like the new style.
Great work and I notice you have a new intro…….very good!
Nice Intro!
Creat new intro .Great update
Great video Jeff!
Love the new intro and cut scenes mate awesome job has a bit of a mcm vibe to it. I'm currently in the middle of wiring my car up and it is definitely daunting especially if you start adding more to it like traction control etc.
Even traction control is not too daunting. Just adding wheel speed sensors is a bit of work if you don't already have them. I added one on Harry.
thumbs up on the intro
Jeff, loved the new intro! Great job with it :)
New intro!!! Nice ,like that alot
I’ve seen some guys mount and wire a Link ECU before, great de pinning, loom building and a brilliant bracket, if only I could remember who they were……?
Was there lots of brackets?
@@garycourtenay4719 a complete shed load of bracketry and biscuits
Slick new graphics
Those factory Ecu’s are such a headache mate. That link unit looks great!!
Glad to see you’ve made some amazing progress with the build!!

I kinda miss the LamBAda sensor...
Keep going you’re giving me inspiration to do mine
Why Link and not Haltech?
Looking good.
Did you put the disconnect side of the bulkhead connector on the boot/ecu side and the mounted portion on the engine side?

Really good Video and good Job 👍💙👍
Nice Opening !
Love the new intro, but its volume is low?
Dude, intro!!🤘🏻🔥
People commenting on the nice intro, hold up on the commenting until you watch the episode. There is also an outro! haha
For a moment I thought you'd found a hideous petrified snake in the back. Oh, it's a loom.
Intro is legit! Did you make it?
Irongav did it ;)
Ulala, i like new intro
whoa! new intro!
things are getting serious! :-D
ooooo shiny new intro!
Don't think anyone has ever said "ooof getting stiff " about rockster before 😂
I would try to soften up those looms with heat gun and manipulate it a bit
do you anticipate any issues with the immobiliser? On the Porsche side I guess is the problem as the engine is just sensors at this point!
I am not using the Porsche ECU at all, so there is no immobiliser any more.
Was this kit for the Boxster?
My fc holden has 4 wires, brown, black, yellow, and white, very hard to get my head around, ha ha.
I like your new generic ;)
Dude! I said to talk to Link about hooking me up when they hooked you up!
Some mate you are.....
Like the new graphics. IronGav?
Yep :D
Very cold day? What's cold in Australia?
We get -4c mornings here. That is about as cold as it gets.
Anything in the teens. Mid twenties to low thirties is ideal for me, that's what we get mostly in Qld.
That's a summers day 😂
Hi!
Do you have a link for those connectors your using?
raceworks.com.au/connectors/deutsch-connectors/hdp20-series/
More Roxster!
I like the old simple intro 😕😕
Applications of Polyurethane Coverings for Wiring and Electronics Polyurethane foam has been used in European vehicle applications as a covering for wiring harness assemblies for over a decade. You just need to find something to dissolve Polyurethane foam
Good tip. I didn't think of that.
@@HomeBuiltByJeff do it right and dissolve it once
Try nail polish remover ( acetone ). But Mrs Jeff might have a bottle of “free tester” somewhere.
🤯
Okay, who put you in touch with MCM's graphics artist? ;)
Benny....
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time
into looks like mightycarmods haha
Oh god those glamour shots at the end of the ugliest porsche in the world. LOL thanks for reminding me of all the little details that allowed it to claim that title!
New titles are nice but 4x too long and the audio's really quiet.
Maybe my brother should have gone aftermarket. His TTs ECU died and Audi removed £1800 from his wallet for a brand new one as no-one would repair his.
I would prefer to redo the entire engine loom, you never know how dodgy the old crap is. As you say one wire/connector at a time.
👍🏻🍺👏
Something’s different......
Whoa, you’re just gonna drop a new intro like that and not tell us?
Muy bien el video.pero.hablas demasiado en los vídeos .son un coñazo .
NICE new intro....keep it coming
