  • Its a cleaning hack using 4 different techniques.
    1.Tomato ketchup
    2.Toothpaste
    3.Vinegar
    4.Lemon juice and Baking Powder
    I've used these techniques to clean copper utensils.

    Screw all that hub bub, a teaspoon of table salt to a cup of vinegar, mix well, warm to 110 F , drop in your piece, wait 2 mins, rinse in cold water...clean as the popes nose...copper, silver, brass, any non ferrous metal...NO IRON...NOR STEEL. Worked well for me for 47yrs so far

      Just apply tamarind paste and salt,wash with Sabina or any other abrasive powder,your brass is gold now.

    Do you really need the baking powder with the lemon juice? I'm guessing the lemon juice would work fine by itself...

      Yeah only lemon works well but with baking powder it works very well 😊

      actually the really easy and most effective way is if you cut lemon and dip it on salt and then rub the copper with it. barely takes any effort at all and superfast

    WET ITEM WITH WATER SPRINKLE SALT REGULAR TABLE SALT OVER WET ITEM THEN AFTER COVERING WITH SPRINKLES OF SALT POUR VINEGAR IN SMALL BOWL USING A SOFT CLOTH DIP INTO VINEGAR AND THEN SALT AND APPLY TO ITEM....IT CLEANS ITSELF BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES MAGICAL..

      So what? White vinegar and fine salt, whatever you use it takes some scrubbing. Also CLR was recommended to soak item in for a few days, but I like some tarnish in the detailed areas

    it's actually Vinegar, Lime, Salt makes the clean up , ketchup and Tooth Paste has nothing to the cleaning process
