Seeing Shikari live is a experience! They are exceptional, they love their fans, they know no bounderies when it comes to genres, to the point where you never know what to expect when they drop a new track. Big live to ES❤️ Shikari Army forever!
They’re back catalogue is superb, much heavier back in the day and have always been a band with a message throughout their tracks and albums. Juggernauts is a belter from them
Always enjoy your explanation of things that I have no understanding of. When you demonstrate how the sounds are actually created safely I am usually surprised. Your deep understanding of vocal production makes me understand why both you and the beat boxers you work with pick up each other techniques so quickly, you both truly understand how to produce "sounds that are interesting".
These guys remind me of the bands that started appearing around 2000 when I was still in high school. Not bad. Not my style, but not bad. I have a few friends who might dig these guys so I'll introduce them.
That belting scream of his reminds me a little of Chester Bennington (RIP) of Linkin Park. Fantastic analyses as always Loli! Would you consider reacting to Fur Elise live by Fouzia? No doubt you'll find her voice as incredible as I do.
I was hoping you would eventually react to them. I wish it was any of their live stuff from Moscow, something like Labyrinth or Return to Energizer which really show off his full vocal range, singing and screaming.
The lyrics for this song are a bit tricky to analyse without some background context that Rou mentioned in a couple of interviews. When the pandemic was at its socially distanced height Enter Shikari, like every other musician on the planet, were unable to play live shows. Due to this Rou discovered that he needed to feed off the energy of a live audience to write music and lyrics. So this song is a direct appeal to every single person who goes to one of their gigs as they are all responsible for every song the band has ever made and every song they will ever make. To all of my fellow ES fans who read this: Please set him on fire. Other than that your analysis is spot on :)
I am going to Warn you. The Warning ⚠️ Please React to Hell You Call A Dream "LIVE" at the Pepsi Center...But Please "The Warning" ⚠️ you can never go wrong with them...
I doubt if the nickelbacking of nu-metal carries any merits. Deduct the heaviness and some meagre, bland song writing remains. Stadium third day festival main act bliss including sing along, and light up the night sky. Yawn. [Nickelbacking originally meant to devastate grunge.]😚😋

They're very good with harmonisation! All 4 of them contribute vocals which helps!

They've been around since '99 so that checks out lol.

1:35 I love that Rou messes up but the one take idea made this part one for It Hurts so much better.
