      @@iits_seb6976 Storage is an issue but it's one you sort of accept when you buy into it (particularly as its ultimately a sports car). The community are great though and have found all sorts of clever ways to increase storage (e.g. storage nets that stick to the material under the doors and behind the seats, bespoke cupholders to improve the existing rubbish 1 into 2 great ones, specific luggage cases that fit perfectly into the frunk).

      The T.33 Spider really surprised me with some gorgeous lines and an organic purity missing in many overstyled modern cars. It brings to mind the Miura and Alfa 33. Of the GMA cars we've seen so far I think the Spider will still look beautiful when we look back many years later....

    Love that sheer hatred Murray has for touchscreens. Don't get me wrong, I love touch screens in cars but imo, when we are talking about cars well worth in millions, analogue gauges just look so much better, if done right. Case in point, that new DeTomaso P72 or whatever. But yeah, love that interior.

    • @srinathk3830

      Dumb Tech. Needs 150 steps into the menus to change the air con setting, and you have to stop or take your eyes off the road. And none of them are as good as a phone - laggy, buggy, crashy, outdated. You wear gloves they don't work. Hands slightly wet or sweaty? Don't work. Buttons, knobs, dials, those are true touch devices that don't need your eyes. Touch screens are touch operated SIGHT screens, not touch devices. It's a car, not a phone. A car could just have a place to mount a phone or tablet with USB or Wireless charging and run everything off the phone. Gordon still remembers that cars are meant for driving.

    • @srinathk3830
      @srinathk3830 Рік тому

      Also those touch controls on the steering wheel that Ferrari pioneered are a dumber idea, they don't even work well.

    • @MHassan1986
      @MHassan1986 Рік тому

      @@srinathk3830 I think if implemented right, touch screens can work well. I own a 2017 Volvo S90 and the climate controls are perma fixed on the screen. So after a few times, you automatically remember where they are without looking away. Their screens also work with gloves because they know that due to the weather in their home country, everyone wears gloves. Its tiny things that make or break the driver's experience. I saw the climate control system on the new BMW i7 and wow, what a clusterfuck of bad design.

    Very important point about touch screens. I do wish manufacturers would grow up and realise that just because something is more technologically advanced, it does not make it better. Such a beautiful car. Lots of luxury sport/super cars look good, but not like this. It’s so elegant and minimalistic. With them walking around it you get a sense how small it really is too.

    I just want an aesthetic wing for it personally. It's beautiful and timeless as is. I just want a little more sportiness to the appearance

    There is no doubt this is a great car in most aspects, but the price tag is just silly and in a way contradicts whatever Gordon Murray is trying to represent.. In my opinion this is built on a pure commercial formula, and not a gear head passionate one..

    Mark my words. The T.33, not the T.50, is going to be the car to collect. Remember the the battle between the Porsche 918 vs. Ferrari La Ferrari? It was the Porsche that was panned in favor of the Ferrari. Time proved the experts wrong. It's the 918 that everyone is chasing now. The T.50 is a brilliant car, a masterpiece but, 20 years from now, the T.50 won't command knee buckling fervor. The T.33 will be the jaw dropping masterpiece that world will clamor for.

    McLaren: Damn!
    Lambo: We don't use to look that direction....
    Fer: We investigate possibility to sue them for anything....
    Porsche: herzlich welkomen zum Nurburgring und habe grosse spass mit uns!

    Gordon Murray finally managed to make a decent looking car but he is still overselling the shit out of it! Someone needs to tell this guy to open his eyes, and come to the reality!
