How wide is the facing material?

She had I would estimate 1.5 inches..approx, and looks like it ended with 1/4 because she double rolled the binding and the end. ..Rahter than tuck the frayed ends undderneath and sew, she rolled / flipped it one more time. ...I need to get abetter machine
