I sat down to watch and had to get right back up. Went to my stssh...found 2 embroidery hoops and a huge piece of red, white, blue fabric that I forgot I had. Sat down, up again...for my jumbo card deck (used all the red heart cards for a valentine garland), found a 4 of diamonds and a couple red bingo cards. Loved the banners. The clipboard and "aged" pillow. Fantastic video! Thanks...Happy 4th!

Julie, these are some great ideas for the summer decor. I start my flag decorating on June 13 so it’s up by the 14th, flag day and also my husband’s birthday. When he was young, he thought flags were put up to honor his birthday 😂. All of you ideas will be used in my home this year, an additional touch to my decor.

The wood piece is a paper towel holder. A rod fits in the slots. Mine has a wire piece on each side in the front with a wood piece attached across the front. Hard to explain, but almost like the pieces you would find a roll of paper in. Mine is smaller than yours but it is so cute and adds such a nice vintage look to my kitchen decor. Your idea was so cute!

Your mystery wood is a paper towel holder. It's missing the dowel rod that goes in the middle to hold the roll. I used to have one, but unfortunately I got rid of it years ago. It was before I started up cycling and keeping

It’s a paper towel holder! I have one too. It’s missing the towel pole holder that goes across and it slides into those small slots. 🙌♥️

Hi Julie! Oh my!! I love everything 😃😃 I have 4 of the flags like you used in the embroidery hoop-I so will have to do that with a couple of them! Our Friends of the Library are having their annual book sale next weekend. On Sundays of the sale they have a $6 bag sale. They give you a large paper sack when you get there to fill. I took my grandkids a couple years ago & let them pick out what they wanted. They were just thrilled. I may have to go next Sunday to get some other backing covers. I have a red, green, soft peach, but will have to definitely look for a couple blue ones.
