As much as I miss Dave and Danny, these guys have stepped up their game and I'm glad they continued to do this series. I don't get to play anymore so it's always nice to be able to watch Magic players have fun.
UCIMYY4U I do occasionally but now I'm very busy with a new job and it's expensive. I'm someone who enjoys having all the flashy promo cards and such so investing say in a full commander deck is daunting due to cost these days. I have a budget Meren deck that does fairly well(because she's broken) but other that I can't bring myself to build a new deck because I'd spend too much money that I don't have lol.

I also would like to see a 5 color eldrazi deck be played even though an eldrazi deck has already been done before. I'm uncertain if it would matter, but Stephen was using the library wrong, at least at 56:30. With Nekusar on the battlefied and sylvan library, the library trigger goes on the stack first, then Nekusar's ability goes on the stack, so he should've drawn 4 cards then put 2 of those back, instead of drawing 3, putting 2 back, then drawing another 1.
This is Wes's last game?He was the most entertaining player. He's the supporting character in a movie that without them the movie would fail and often is taking for granted. The other people who have rotated out never really were that interesting. Justin and Stephen are entertaining as lead personalities but Wes is necessary as a supporting role.
For next season, I would love to see some Commander Vs Variants. Perhaps another planechase? Would love to see EDH Bang version ( with roles like the card game) or Emperor, or you could even do the Archenemy! Just ideas though.
Congrats on finishing Season 3 guys, first thing I'd like to see is a hyper-competitive week, with only top-tier competitive decks, with one of the decks being Derevi. I want to see things start off with Mental Mistep on Sol Ring, etc.

For instance you pick the Khans block and one of you plays cards only from Khans, one from Fate, and one from Dragons. The fourth person could maybe pick and play a set from a block either one block earlier or later. Just a thought! No matter what you guys do I know it will be great! If you want to try another wacky abnormal commander match you could pick one of the 5 swords (Fire and Ice, etc) as your commander, and have your deck colors be the three colors your sword doesn't protect from. Extra points to whichever player is able to hit others with their sword the most.
Stephen could have killed everyone when heh cast that Cord of Calling for 7. He could've simply got Zealous Conscripts, used it to Act if Treason Jeremy's Kiki-Jiki, and gone infinite. But he didn't, and I appreciate that. I'm a firm believer in fun, long commander games and that seems to decreasing among commander players (at least in my play group). Good job being the cool guy, Stephen! :D

As far as I know, whenever players turn over their commanders, and one of them is Nekusar, then the game usually becomes a 3 Vs. 1 from that moment on.
Can one of you guys do one with omnath locus of mana? My favorite commander to play with. Playing with mana boosters and trample cards makes him very scary... plus seedborn muse and genesis wave. :P
I would like to see what you do with Meren, of the Clan Nel Toth. I just build a deck around her and she sounds fun, had no time to play her yet but I am super excited to try her :)
I think Justin played her in the C15 special episode. As with most black decks in EDH I think the consensus was it comes down to how much you want to hinder your deck to be less dominant. In the case of golgari and Meren's triggered ability, it turns into basically reanimating cards like Acidic Slime or Terastodon multiple times a turn and dominating the board. Unlike the other commanders in that set too, her ability has value just by casting her and no other cards. Either way you get a creature back to your hand or battlefield. Even if it's something like sakura tribe elder or sad robot, it's still value town. That being said, when I pull her out at my lgs, she gets hated off the table more than when I play my $700+ Sisay deck.
well.. okay, sad to hear.... i just found her interesting (i am totally not into comp. commander or any competetive mtg) and wanted to build a deck around her without just going for a stupid faceroll deck. my intention was fun gameplay and now i fear i spend the time and money to craft this deck just to build an entirely stupid deck (on the "have fun"-way) :( but thank you very much for this input.
I noticed Justin parnell featured day's undoing, which is a very unique card. the only problem: it is awful with nekusar. although it does time reversal, the fact that it ends the turn, will make it to where nekusar (or in my case, niv-mizzet) deals no damage. the trigger goes on the stack, and ending the turn exiles all spells AND ABILITIES on the stack.
+Justin Parnell that is true, but when I had built my niv-mizzet deck, at first, I didn't have either of them, so it was never useful for me, and if I had it, the chance I got leyline or vedalken ornery was too slim. I ended up dropping it for something like winds of change, which is also great in the nekusar build.

Even though i completely respect the choice of Jeremy to keep the game going instead of nuking a single player when he first played Kiki-Jiki by using warstorm surge and infernal titan damage all on one player, it upsets me to see him coming in last for not taking such a strong move.
Turns out being nice gets you to keep your current playgroup and make it possible to play more games. My list of people I'd rather not play with because they do dicky things just to win a casual format is bigger than it should be (because it should be 0).
I think Stephen Green should play a BGU turbo fog deck so he can gain tons of points saving people. I recommend Vorosh, the Hunter as the commander so you can actually win, otherwise you can stick with Damia, Sage of Stone for maximum turbo for the turbofog deck.
Two ideas: 1. Do all Group Hug or Politics 2. At the end of each season, do a video where you guys use your favorite deck that you used from that season.
Okay. so what really needs to happen next season is; 1. Wes plays AGGRO! Lord of Tresselhorn preferably. 2. Stephen needs to try out Bladewing, the Risen.
For the (inevitable?) return of budget, I'd like to see a per-card budget (I'm thinking $2 or less) instead of a deck budget. The reduced variance in card prices will mean more strong budget cards see play instead of a bunch of 25-50 cent staples with a handful of windmill $10+s. I feel this is more appropriate for a 1 game showcase of Commander on a budget, even if copying the decklist directly could potentially cost more.
Suggestion for next season: Community super league did modern, no ban list. You should do EDH no banlist to showcase some of the most busted cards in EDH.

Meren with Kamigawa spirits, all the spirit shift returning things to your hands and field. Cards aren't completely broken. You might like the idea.
54:09 Justin could have won if he waited until stephens draw step to use his spells cause the greatest hand size would have been 5 instead of 3.
Sometime next season you should have a theme week where you build decks based on your favorite commenter's screen names.

It gets much better with Leyline of Anticipation or Vedalken Orrery :)

For the (inevitable?) return of budget, I'd like to see a per-card budget (I'm thinking $2 or less) instead of a deck budget. The reduced variance in card prices will mean more strong budget cards see play instead of a bunch of 25-50 cent staples with a handful of windmill $10+s. I feel this is more appropriate for a 1 game showcase of Commander on a budget, even if copying the decklist directly could potentially cost more.
i would LOVE to see someone play Mizzix correctly. So far that is my favorite commander. You need to build her using STORM!
How about "Battle of the Gods"? Any 4 of the God cards as commanders would be fun, but I would choose Karametra, Phenax, Mogis, and Athreos.
Suggestion for next season: Community super league did modern, no ban list. You should do EDH no banlist to showcase some of the most busted cards in EDH.

Randomly assign 2-3 intro packs per person and make a deck from just those cards except multi-colored lands and commander.
