what a nice boat to stay in, i bet the up keep is high since it is wood but she is beautiful.thanks for sharing,i looked up the queen version and they took the queen to new orleans to have it restored.
Somebody went to a lot If trouble to restore the Delta King! Amazing video. Hope you're having as much fun as we are. I bet it's something to see in person. Great place for a wedding. You gettin hitched out there Russ? HaHa
+RVerTV Na, your bride would just fish you out of the Sacramento River and stand you up in front of the preacher dripping wet. A good man is hard to find. LOL
Josefina Garcia Delta Queen didn't sink haha. That one was still running up until 2008. Not sure about now. The Delta King (this boat) sank, but it wasn't during WWII.
Hey Russ. I am way behind on videos and trying to catch up. Last couple of weeks have been about switching jobs, got a new gig in a city about 150 miles away so that was a good reason to get an RV which I did. Got everything moved in I think - staying in it tonight and tomorrow morning to be sure, then heading out tomorrow afternoon. Still need to sell the house and get rid of stuff but this is a big step in that direction. I was getting the stickers ready for the back window and realized I don't have anything for you. Do you have stickers or anything?
Thanks for sharing that find. I looked at their website deltaking.com and it showed two types of rooms available 5/29-30 $199-$219 but no deluxe rooms available. The Suspects Murder Mystery Dinner Theater I think was $42.50 (15 years running); that must be the guns you were speaking off. Thanks again.
yes there is a major music festival in old sac this weekend i am surprised anything was available... parking is horrible too but it would be fun in the off season to do, prob cheaper too
Thanks Russ for another excellent tour. I came across another website with a rather extensive history of the Delta King and some great photos as well. Enjoy! maritimematters.com/2010/06/the-delta-king-california%E2%80%99s-monarch-by-shawn-j-dake/

the best part of a wedding on a boat is "you can jump overboard" before you say I Do
