The zoo and there is a museum called the " museum of shadows". It's a haunted artifacts museum. Looks cool.

Ive been here 30 years and I actually drive trucks locally in Omaha and surrounding and I really dont even appreciate downtown Omaha. I used to go to the Old Market every Friday night and play hacky sack with a bunch of friends but that was my last encounter with the Old Market. If you are passing through again, they just opened Heartland of America park connecting the Leahy Mall and the Keiwit Luminarium. Give it a try and next time do some Zios or Don Carmelos pizza. @@KristenandSam Just only wished some of the drone footage would have taken other parts of the skyline, not some parking lots haha
Also the Hearland of America and the Lewis and Park, next to the Gene Leahey Mall will open this summer; so there will be plenty of more trails and more green spaces
@@Electrodexify basically the entire downtown of Omaha was under a do not fly zone. Sorry
@Kristen and Sam Oh that's correct! Especially with the nearby Eppley Airport, plus there's a reason why the first national bank tower has a light flare for Aircraft
We passed thru Omaha a long time ago but didn't really stop and do much. It was late at night so we popped into one of the casinos for an hour before going to sleep. Thanks for showing us around town! Great week ahead I hope for you two!

@@KristenandSam yes we were headed from FL to MN one time and drifted thru St Louis. Others was heading from CO back to OH. We just need to get out more!
I don't make it downtown very often but I do visit our zoo here in Omaha at least a couple of times a year. It's a relaxing way to spend a few hours. Though Omaha is only a city of about half a million, it has a really good zoo for its size.
That is awesome! We wish the jungle would have been open when we went, but otherwise we had a great time!
That zoo is huge. They need to offer a two day pass.
