Removing the Background from Illustrations with Pixelmator

This is an update, covering different ways to remove the white space of an illustration so that you're left with a transparent background, using Pixelmator 3.6, Cordillera (2016).

Thank you for the video; I’m thinking about getting Pixelmator, and this video is super useful. :)
I hear you; I’ve been using Photoshop for more than a decade, but I tend to not recommend it to people who are just starting out or need to only do basic editing - and they more often than not don’t understand why I say that xD - as it can definitely be overkill due to its overabundance of features.

Ohhh my gosh a million thank yous - I've been just using the Pixelmator wand, which yes bleeds into my whites, then going back in with Procreate for ages to redefine. :p Thanks for sharing this!
