Dad took me out of school early in the 9th grade (I was 14) to see the Avett Brothers in Atlanta. I proposed to my now fiancé at the Avett Brothers concert in Pittsburgh & we recently went to their show in Baltimore. So talented and I’m happy to be introduced to a new artist in Clem Snide. Great show, thanks for putting it on NPR.
The sound of those instruments unplugged is so wonderful! So often music is over produced and reworked. These COVID-19 quarantine recordings are making music come alive in these unprecedented times. Thank you very much for providing some joy for the day!
Scott's look at the end of "Jews for Jesus" is a smile-maker!! Great tunes, great voices, great playing and who doesn't love the occasional rooster crow!
The measuring tape is hilarious. Love this. Sound quality isn't as good as at the genuine tiny desk, but it still has that rich Lo fi warmth and brilliant musicians. Great performance.
I first saw Clem Snide when he supported Ben Folds in February 2005, at The Dome in Brighton Uk. I bought his album after seeing him that night, and i recognised Jews for Jesus as soon as i heard it!
Great setting, I love the nature sounds stepping in the music. I love how there are all these initiatives to bring concerts to your home now and Tiny Desks has been doing them for so long.
Loved Clem Snide ever since i've heard them on an acoustic session for Austrian alternative station FM4. At the time he played a song that just came to him in the taxi en route to the studio.
The reports of Eef’s demise are greatly exaggerated! Gentlemen please bring that show on the road. Safe quarters are guaranteed in The Colorado foothills! Joe’s house.
Thanks for sharing. If you have a second come check out my cover of The Lumineers - I'm an indie artist and think you might dig my sound. Really appreciate it!
Thanks for uploading! If you have a second, I tried my hand at a cover of Little Big Town. As a fellow music lover, I'd love if you'd take a listen. It's on my channel. Hope you like it!

Please bring back The Avett Brothers to Tiny Desk!
YEP! WE NEEDED AN UPDATE!! THE LAST ONE WAS 9 YEARS AGO!
Wow, Eef and Scott were not two guys I had really envisioned sitting down and jamming. But now that I've seen it, I get it. Great video!

"But someone up there has a different plan" absolutely wonderful. Eef sings from the heart and I love it. Thanks guys!
I've loved Eef for so long. This is magical
Man, making me get up from bed and look hopeful for the day, really needed that, thanks guys!

Scott Avett gives me life 💙
THANK you for this! A gift in lockdown for those of us missing live music so much. And what an epic album this is by Clem Snide.
This might be my new favourite thing on the internet.
What a wonderful surprise;we are so lucky! Thanks so much!
Great setting, I love the nature sounds stepping in the music. I love how there are all these initiatives to bring concerts to your home now and Tiny Desks has been doing them for so long.

You guys made me realize I like this genre... cool.
Excellent placement of tape. Sounds lovely. See these guys n the crew every year they come to Canandaigua, NY
Thanks for transporting me above the pandemic. It took me way too long to figure out why there was a tape measure stretched out!
I just tickled to see a tiny desk from some random shed on Scott Avett's farm!!
Thank you Clem for coming on Anirudh's Apocalypse Show on IGTV songs!
It's a treat to see you and Scott together!
Love it. Love the setting. Love the measuring tape. LOL
Takes a lot of guts to take the lead like that with an Avett. Well done Clem. :)
Excellent music to travel and clear everything from the mind, greetings from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷
爽やかそして癒し心地良い

I love their song "The Meat of Life".
Thank you ..great playing and singing!
That rooster provided the right amount of levity.
Nice my friend 👍🎵💕thank you so much and hope you have a wonderful weekend 🙏😊💕💖🎵
Beautiful
That measuring tape....
Scott Avett singing backing vocals is like Klay Thompson passing up the 3pt shot for me to take it.
big vibes!
Sounds even better with the roosters.
Sweet for the ears.
Awesome!
New fan from Denver! Clem, I hope to see you live one day! And who is that Scott guy?? I think he has potential =)
Scott Avett. He’s in a band called the Avett brothers. Incredible people and great musicians, you should definitely check them out
Dear, you're in for a treat with The Avett Bros.! Swept away was the first song I heard from them over a decade ago.
Great!
Thank you
Yes. Yes. Yes.
Yes.
Reminiscent of that great duo Simon and Garfunkel
I want to look like Scott when I'm 43
wunderbar

Lovely
Does anyone know what Scott's instrument is called when he was playing "Roger Ebert"?
Ukulele? Soprano guitar?
Baritone ukulele I think.
Great harmonies. What are those little guitars? Would be easy for my little hands.
Does anyone know the chords for the first song?
Is there a way to buy Tiny Desks? It could be a good way to raise money for a cause..there at least 5 I would buy.
Harmonies 6 feet apart.
@anynone is that a big ukulele?
Which guy is which? And what instrument is the guy on the left playing in the first song?
Who's the guy on the left?
Nice
woah
What's with the tape measure on the desk? You boys just seeing how long you're gonna be?
What a happy accident. Just browsing and hit these guys I hear never heard of before. Not perfect but bloody marvellous anyway.
I really need to go to sleep
Hi nelson
Casual dudes
Sorry I mixed them Up my Bad
is it wrong to say,,,,,,,,the head shaking ruined it for me......lololol...
Since When is Scott a south paw???????
He's not, Eef is.
What was with the face shake thing? lol
Whose chicken is that?
Thanks for sharing. If you have a second come check out my cover of The Lumineers - I'm an indie artist and think you might dig my sound. Really appreciate it!
dood stuff

I love them, but they are quite out of tune during the first song. Let's wait for the next ones.
It’s been 9 minutes, chill champ
Shut up dude. You're cramping everyone's style.
Good placement of the tape measure. Covers precisely the right hand and the soundhole. Nobody wants to see these, right?
Quit abusing that poor guitar!
Nice
