I think Dream's acting skills shine out the most whenever he acts in a fit of rage (like the "I better see white flags outside your base or you're dead" quote).

I watched it live, this scene gave me chills. Edit: I just wanted to thank you guys for the likes, it's good to know that there are so many people who share this feeling and who like this story as much as I do.
Dream here in this scene was absolutely terrifying to watch! The swearing scared me a whole lot because he had never directed this much anger towards someone before in one of his streams and him being overall this angry. Also the comments of how he is reminding everyone that he can control the server as he pleases, especially the line that the disks were his, its because everything in this world belongs to him. He is a really good actor.

He breaks the 2 dirt blocks to enter, sees nothing (when looking inside), steps inside, and replaces the 2 dirt blocks behind him, turns back around and Technoblade is just standing before him and says "Hello Theseus" I'd cryyy LMAOAOAO (Techno would probably just be shifting on the staircase and jumps out once Tommy turns his back)
I love this so much and here's why: yes the whole thing is a role play, it's an rpg at this point but that's the thing. Dream loves games, specifically winning them. He set his win condition to always being in control no matter the situation so the fact that he lured them out of the holy land by pretending he cared ( I do think he was pretending. He's shown in the past that he cares about the living not the dead and spirit is definitely dead) only to flip it on them like this shows how far ahead he's calculating. His win condition is already met, he just needs to keep it up.
I think dream decided he didn't care about what tommy would do with spirit while he was taking down the walls, a few seconds before this video starts you can hear him debating on if he will or not and at 1:00 he stops breaking blocks and stands there for a few seconds. I think this is when he decided to threaten tommy and l'manbergs freedom. While, what you said is a possibility and dream could've been faking his inner conflict to trick them I think its more likely that it was a heat of the moment thing and he decided then.

Dream here in this scene was absolutely terrifying to watch! The swearing scared me a whole lot because he had never directed this much anger towards someone before in one of his streams and him being overall this angry. Also the comments of how he is reminding everyone that he can control the server as he pleases, especially the line that the disks were his, its because everything in this world belongs to him. He is a really good actor.

I love this so much and here's why: yes the whole thing is a role play, it's an rpg at this point but that's the thing. Dream loves games, specifically winning them. He set his win condition to always being in control no matter the situation so the fact that he lured them out of the holy land by pretending he cared ( I do think he was pretending. He's shown in the past that he cares about the living not the dead and spirit is definitely dead) only to flip it on them like this shows how far ahead he's calculating. His win condition is already met, he just needs to keep it up.
I think dream decided he didn't care about what tommy would do with spirit while he was taking down the walls, a few seconds before this video starts you can hear him debating on if he will or not and at 1:00 he stops breaking blocks and stands there for a few seconds. I think this is when he decided to threaten tommy and l'manbergs freedom. While, what you said is a possibility and dream could've been faking his inner conflict to trick them I think its more likely that it was a heat of the moment thing and he decided then.
