    I prefer Shorai LiFePo batteries. I’ve had it on my R1 since 2012 and on my HP4 since 2014. Much simpler to mount, no special connectors needed, weighs next to nothing, cranks really powerful and best of all, after sitting in the garage for the whole winter without being charged, cranks the bike like it was put away yesterday.

      Mikrop Omer Moto GP and WSBK uses Speedcell. No other battery can compare.

    • @bingeciren
      @bingeciren 6 років тому +3

      DSOXBLADE Moto GP and WSBK requirements and conditions are totally different than street uses. None of those bikes sit at a garage unattended for months to begin with. All those bikes get practically new parts for each race and none of them use the same battery for many years as street bikes do. Moto GP bikes don’t even have starter motors, so CCA does not even matter for them. I have experimented with other brands of LiFePo batteries as well but when it comes to ease of mounting and cranking the bike in a cold spring day for the first time in months, Shorai never disappointed me.

    • @DSOXBLADE
      @DSOXBLADE 6 років тому

      That doesn't mean anything. My bikes have sat for months without being touched and the battery has never given me a problem. Every battery series is taylormade for each level of bike and vehicle type. Also, speedcell is the one who invented lithium ion batteries. So.... everyone else is a copy. I don't think you understand I'm not coming at it from a biased standpoint either. If they weren't the best, moto gp or wsbk wouldn't touch them because they use top of the line in everything.

    • @DSOXBLADE
      @DSOXBLADE 6 років тому +1

      And of course I'm sure the one you use is still awesome as well, there's allot of great products out there. I like the history and development of speedcell over any other also.

    • @bingeciren
      @bingeciren 6 років тому +1

      DSOXBLADE doing absolutely fine. None lost any of their cranking power so far. What I like about the LiFePo batteries is that they get charged to about 80% in just a quick 20 minute ride and hold 80% of their charge up to a year in storage. They tolerate being left in the cold a lot better than the lead based batteries. I’ll never go back to lead batteries again.

    Man Zack is the man! Truly an Einstein on the bikes! I need him to work on my Busa IB, to get it right. I’m not with the “typical” route with my Busa like how most people go. As u saw when I emailed u. I do track days on my Busa. None of that extended swingarm with a Batman tire bs on the back. The route I’m going with mine, I really need Einstein Zack to put his science to it...

    you can disassemble the quick connector and install your factory leads into it, as long as everything reaches with your battery mounted in your desired location. Nice job on the bike.

    Okay I'm done I've been here for a while and I don't understand how the hell ANYONE could afford all these parts for all these really expensive bikes with all that labor cost too! Does he own an Oil Company?! Love 650ib some of the best bike videos on UA-cam just damn I'm jealous!

      He gets a lot of the parts for free/heavily discounted effectively as a sponsorship/advertising to 170,000+ subscribers - same as the dealership, if Zack(h?) is there full time he's not always working on something but he's still paid a salary so why not make use of his time and gain their garage some exposure - especially him being as good at what he does. Not to mention the Patreon subscriptions to try to win the bike. It's just a matter of numbers. Impressive nonetheless

    I kept waiting for zack to dead short that battery when he plugged it in with the cables dangling around. If you’ve ever dead shorted a lipo you will make sure it don’t happen again. Shit happens real fast.

    Using the wrong charger can make a lithium ion battery get so hot it will burst into flame. Zack might want to check Revival Cycles for tessa tape instead of standard electrical tape. He knocked that battery out quickly, and expertly!

    Is there another way to install the iat without drilling into the plastic?

    • @adamthomas6643
      @adamthomas6643 6 років тому +1

      O'Brian Ambris no there isn’t, you still want it to read the intake temp just not from where it does stock. It’s all hidden away so it’s not visible.

    • @mosoliman4489
      @mosoliman4489 6 років тому +1

      New install spot is perfect as its out of the way upfront where it will get enough air & that won't alter the reading & the way the bike runs according to such reading of the sensor ( too hot ) because of its original location

  • @mohammedsaleh3265
    @mohammedsaleh3265 6 років тому

    Why did you change the air filter sensor place ???

    • @ReedSta4
      @ReedSta4 6 років тому +1

      Mohammed Saleh stock location causes the sensor to give false readings when bikes up to temperature. New location gives more accurate ambient temperature and therefore doesn't alter the tune as severely.

    • @mosoliman4489
      @mosoliman4489 6 років тому +1

      Original location is surrounded by hot areas that alter the temp readings which affect the way the bike runs in general .Now moving it to a cooler area will in fact cause the temp sensor to register actual temp so the bike will run so much better

    Yep best way to drop weight is to get lighter parts such as aluminum,carbon, ditch unnecessary parts
    and the best way to shed weight is get those gains and lose that fat.
