I love mine and the fiancé got to hear it for the first time on my bike when we rode today and she loves it, she said it's not obnoxious and has a deep growl to it!!! Problem is you just wanna rev the bike now (a lot)! And I bet it saved a bunch of weight compared to the stock can!
Man, the white and grey is really starting to grow on me. Hopefully it doesn't take over my love for the red/black, orange/black or yellow/black. And of course, that shorty sounds sick as fuck

I love the color of the bike for real I've been looking for a 750 in those colors they seems to have the black and the blue and white but I'm not a fan of either colors like that. I love the white and gray. Also aint nothing like that M4 its definitely the best exhaust out
thanks man i completely agree! They only made this color scheme in 2015 and they didn't make that many so I was really lucky to get on at my local dealer. The 750 has a sick black and red scheme from 2015 but other than that they are hard to find. haha And yes the m4 never gets old. Such a great sound.
Have the same exact setup on my 14 gsxr 600.. don’t waste your money on the gixxer boys kit though you can make a homemade tag bracket and get a good tag light off amazon thats just as nice for a total of 10 bucks
Also try the new m4 without the silencer, most people like it without! I took mine out and it's just a little deeper and meaner! Ready to eat the competition:)
Yeah! Also if you take out the silencer, coat the inside with blue tape (painters) cause that big c-clip is in there good and takes a lot of strength to get it out and if the c-clip pliers slip you won't scratch the inside of the m4 pipe:) maybe do a video with it in and out to see how you like it as well:)
i enjoyed the stock sound too actually but I like how this one is a little louder and lower. Sounds a little more badass and people notice me more for sure.

Great video and particularly useful to me. As you know, I'm out of country on a deployment (1 year long) , but will be returning home mid July 17. I'm thinking I'm going to do the M4 shorty and Gixxer Boys Fender Eliminator kits as well. I've had my stock exhaust on my bike since 2013 and don't mind the sound, but it's a bit big and heavy too...so time to take it off.
damn happy u r ok i had this is the 2016 it got stolen i had it hooked up to the max i have allot of upgrades i never got to put on like the rare to find front cage and sub cage that would have saved your big bigtime let me know who wants to buy i have a new kit for 500$ its worth like 700 also i have a brand new cycleshell it took 3 month to get the sport bike 1 never got to use it its still in box 450$ and lots more
Your bikes looking really good bro and I love the sound of the M4. Quick question, you mentioned you've ridden bikes before but on your gixxer how adept are you at down shifting? It's something I'm having trouble with, I usually just engine brake instead of rev matching
I actually find down shifting to be fairly easy on the gixxer. You just have to be careful how fast you let the clutch out if you're not rev matching. So if you're gonna downshift at a high rpm which will cause a lot of engine breaking then just be careful you don't let the clutch out too fast or your wheel could lock up and slide a little. Not a big deal if you're going straight and are ready for it but if you're turning slightly you could dump it. So just be careful.

hey buddy, nah with a slip on you don't have to change the tuning at all...it will still run the same. Its not until you get into the full exhaust or removing that CAT that you have to change the tune etc.
I have the same bike mines just black and white same pipe I just took the baffle out of mine sounds perfect. My buddies cbr 600 sounds like crap compared to our Gixxers with m4s

+Jaret Campisi oh ok cool, the stock fender had the rear signal lights right? Did you replace them with some other signal lights or just not have them anymore?
+PhantomXII on the gsxr's the turn signals are integrated into the tail section next to the brake lights as they are in the front into the mirrors so you don't have to mess with those at all when removing the rear fenders on these which is nice.

the 600 and 750 are the same...not sure about the 1000. And I think you would be fine at 5'5 but I'd say go into a store and sit on a few and see what ya think :)
alright thanks so i bought the ninja 300 but after watching your videos and few other youtube videos on the gsxr i really want to trade my ninja even if i get lowballed lol. Is there a reason you didnt go with the r6?
The R6 does not have mode selectors, doesn't have a shift light, doesn't have a steering dampener, doesn't have brembo brakes stock, and it does not have power lower in the rev range like the GSXR does. The r6 is also less comfortable. It think about the only thing the r6 has over the gsxr is looks and that is one of the main reason why people buy them in my opinion. So it really comes down to personal preference. They are both great bikes in the end but just decides what you prefer :)
i left the baffle in so I actually don't have any issues with it to be honest. I can see what you mean a little on the highway but its still fine and people hear me coming which is nice :)
the pieces that look carbon fiber are actually fake carbon fiber plastic pieces that come on the newer GSXR models. And thanks, I'm loving it as well :)
thanks I like the way it looks too even though its not real carbon fiber. The M4 is really nice with my bike. Just right amount of sound and growl but not super loud that everyone hates you. haha
its pretty straight forward. Just loosen the mirrors a bit, take out all the screws from the old mirror, slide the new one in and tighten everything back down :)

no they actually have a low seat height relative to the other 600's. I'm 5'10 and can touch the ground with my legs bent while on the seat.

There are some springs and other things showing at the bottom that make it look a little ghetto so the heat shield just kinda hides it all.
