Ok, you make that sound as crooked as possible. A well crafted answer takes all details into account, including ones own assumptions. You can pitch what she said as a crafty lie, but also as a means to be as honest as possible. If you would be 100% honest, your answer would take Very long too. If it doesn't, you would be leaving stuff out, the answer would be incomplete and if someone catches such a flaw, they could say you were lying by omission. Do you see what im sayin? Answering questions truthfully isn't as simple as you made it sound.

Their faces then get farmed to allow the CCP to hunt down and cleanse undesirables from their society, and beyond, using facial recognition, thanks the the billions of hours of high quality and well lit selfie video of their faces from all angles gen-Z has put up for harvesting by the CCP. So it's not enough that they are destryoing their own lives but they are giving vast power to the hands of a corrupt regime which uses that power to target anyone critical of it, even across the Western world. Sending agents to locations which they get tagged at and using their facial recognition technology and security-black-hole IoT devices and webcams to keep a breast of these people.

Eh, I can understand why he's asking so many specific questions. As a fictional example, if I told a British exporter during the Cold War Era that I thought tea was mud and preferred coffee, it might give away my preference for American food staples or World War 2 rations. Although this might not mean I'm American, it could indicate I no longer participate in a culturally acceptable practice or tradition.
As another example, I recently spoke with an Afghanistan War veteran whose emergency plan in the event of societal collapse was to move to some remote caves in New Hampshire or Vermont with his guns and hunt for his food. I get the hunting idea came from his US military survival training as per his own admission, but why live in a cave? Why live in some caves? I work in tech. Her answers are intentionally misleading. She was. Dry precise. She is clearly smart. And she exactly what to say in a well rehearsed dance meant to make it look like high security is the same thing as not sharing data. I have no doubt that the CCP uses strong security when accessing our private data.
