@@qualityengineersguide Air content on fresh concrete is going to be able to better control issues on site than permeability, RCP, or absorption tests on hardened concrete. These tests are trial mixtures to be determined as well. How do you provide quality assurance for the owner that the proper concrete is being placed for their interior concrete instead of their exterior concrete? Additionally, if your project documents require your compression test specimens be made in accordance with ASTM C31, your report requires either an air content, or an explanation for not including an air content.
