Your first video solved all my problems with my two little buddy heaters, but the content in this one is very valuable too! You must be a teacher by profession. If not, you missed your calling!

Thank you for both of these videos. The fix in the first video didn't get mine to work, but the pilot light got brighter. This video got mine going again. Thanks again for the excellent detail and explanation in your videos!

My little heater buddy was not staying lit . My solution was to point the head of my heater buddy at a 45 degree angle . This helps in the fuel air mixture . Making sure the pilot stays lit. 😊.

I just found another fix for the problem which is MUCH simpler: My pilot worked but the element refused to ignite. I cleaned the thermocouple with sandpaper and blew out all the lines and still nothing. Solution: I tapped the regulator a few times with a screwdriver and BINGO! it now works perfectly! Maybe the diaphragm inside the regulator got stuck or something?.

VERY informative Will. Thank You!! Well, here we go again. Go deeper into it this time. And you are SO right about that thumb cramp. I almost can't feel my right thumb anymore!! I also discovered the let out slow trick. Worked well a couple of times. Will let you know. Thanks again.

I bought the Little Buddy on Dec. 21 and went to use it for the first time yesterday for an upcoming fishing trip. Guess what? The darn thing doesn't work. The return policy of the store is 30 days and it's now been 33 days. I can hold the button for several minutes but the moment I let go the pilot goes out. I am not at all happy with Mr. Heater right now! Do they not test these in the factory?

Same here. It seems to be a common problem. And Mr. Heater's customer service is also problem.

@@MrTeff999 Fortunately the place I bought it from exchanged it for another one. It took a lot of grumbling from me for them to do it, and I had to quickly remind them of the thousands of dollars I spent there on firearms and other camping gear. The new one worked great though.

Very good videos explaining how to take apart - but the issue with mine was the “tip over switch” - it would be very sensitive to any movement and then would not let gas go through no matter how long you held pilot light - too apart tip switch and “adjusted” - now works like a champ - I noticed yours did not have that switch in it or I missed seeing it

Thanks for the comment. I would have liked to have seen how you made the adjustment! Mine does have the tip-over switch, so maybe it was my camera angle that prevented you from seeing it.

If you have a email or text to send to - I will explain the adjustment

Ok I will try and explain - first the ball bearing that should push down on the “switch” that connect the wires that gives enough signal to release the gas valve to light the main - was not pushing the switch arm all the way down to make good contact - either the arm was bent up to much or the plastic housing was not letting the ball bearing to push arm down to make full contact - I adjusted (bent) the switch arm and made sure plastic housing was not keeping ball from pushing arm down enough to make complete contact

All it takes is a spec of dust in an air/propane passage. Doesn’t have to be completely blocked.
