- 'The Last Alaskans' may have been canceled by Discovery but we are still not over the fact that the Lewis family left the show since season 3. Why did they leave? What happened to them after leaving 'The Last Alaskans'? RIP Bob Harte. I was thrilled to learn from the beginning that he grew up in Fairview, N.J., only a few minutes & miles from my home In Bergen County. I will miss him. What an incredible man of many talents. His daughter Talicia is beautiful as well his granddaughter. I love Nancy too. Thank you so much for having an interesting, informative & beautifully filmed show. I'd love more great Alaska shows about these strong, brave people. Again, R.I.P.

I really hope the program The Last Alaskans isn't cancelled it's one of my favorites even though Bob passed away and the Lewis family isn't there now there still are the other people. Heimo and Edna have always been my very favorites. Please bring it back if it's been cancelled.

Very definitely the best reality show on Discovery , I don't think they realize how many people watch it , for us it was like getting the TV trays out so we could eat & watch I LOVE LUCY !!!!! PUT IT BACK ON !!!!

After the 2nd or 3rd episode I no longer noticed their eyes. They are the real deal. A lovely family all around. The real deal. Thanks Lewis family! I loved the ride.

Seems to me that the really, truly good shows end up cancelled. The Last Alaskans, Yukon Men, Alaska the Last Frontier are all the BEST TV out there. We are being FORCED to PAY for all of the best Discovery Programs. As usual it's all about $$$. Makes me sick. Meanwhile all the other GARBAGE takes precedence. I'm so very disappointed in the DISVOVERY franchise now. PLEASE PLEASE keep up the excellent programming as you always have. Thanks for the GOOD times. I, for one, am grateful.

The Lewis family was great and always enjoyable. Discovery should listen to the viewers. Keep them there as folks liked them and their adventures.

I LOVE this show! I just found it recently & it’s how we all should live by not being dependent on this failing unpredictable world system but being solely dependent on God and the things He has created in nature for us for our needs. FAMILY is so important, working together, loving each other and making memories on earth with the short time we have AND NOT being distracted with all the worldly things that are so toxic. This show is pure, simple and mind freeing especially with not being stuck to phones, computers, the wicked system which is literally making people antisocial, reclusive & isolated from others. We’re heading down a dangerous path& it’s been planned that way unless we wake up. I also sure pray that nothing has happened to the families on the refuge because with everything happening in the world now, the ruling elite doesn’t want us to be independent they want us to be dependent on them for very evil sinister reasons. The Last Alaskans showed us we can live free, non dependent on the system, it showed the purity & simplicity that we all need to get back to before it’s too late. There was NO reason for this show to be canceled unless someone thought it was a threat to the agenda. You all do not understand how completely evil this is to cancel this show especially with the covid agenda happening. This show is a threat to what’s trying to be done to which many have zero clue about it.
God bless ALL the beautiful families on this refuge and I truly pray for their safety & continual freedom to live their lives as they desire to in Jesus Name.

being honest, the first time I saw a Lewis daughter, I immediately thought she had down syndrome...then I saw the others, and their conversations, I realized....the mom....

I bet some of the bully's of the Lewis sisters wouldn't care about their "eyes" if they were lost in the Alaskan wilderness and the only one around to help were the sisters. These girls are stronger in a balanced way than most people by being emotionally, physically & mentally strong, God bless this family.

I'm sorry I was just getting started on watching that show and really enjoyed it. Too late to know much about the Lewis family but I just wanted to comment here that I hope everyone that was on the show is healthy and happy and continues to have good and happy life

I absolutely LOVE this program! It's such good entertainment and my nieces and nephews like it as well.
One of the very few reality shows that isnt manipulated and sensationalised. It must have been tough for Discovery to let real events pan out without adding they're own brand of "reality". They've ruined many a show that way

I have not watched ANY TV shows lately and if this show will be cancelled, there will be not much left for me to bother. It seems, that a “clean” show draws to little of an audience and therefor more action (shootings, killings, bad language etc) is “needed.” What a shame.

I liked this show and the Lewis family and I wondered what happened to them. I’m glad everyone is doing well. I never knew they were cyberbullied. That’s really sad. I noticed all the Lewis women had the same eye shape but never thought of it as a defect or abnormality. They were just pretty women with similarly shaped eyes, which often happens with close relatives. And they didn’t wear makeup to minimize or emphasize aspects of their features as many women do, because makeup isn’t part of a wilderness lifestyle. There is so much variety in human facial features! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and lasting beauty comes from within.

I guess it's human nature to get older and move on. No one wants to stay the same, especially young people. So I hope all the cast are doing well and doing what they want. As for the eye situation of the Lewis girls, I assumed they had native Alaskan blood and they inherited the almond eyes of the Eskimo.
Sad that the Lewis girls were harassed for their eyes!?! It was difficult enough for the narrator to pronounce the condition but so stupid to troll over. Glad that they're doing alright. Doesn't bother them and Alaska is difficult enough to live with bears and moose.
Sarah working with Charlie's sister with a dog team could work into a great story as that is a major vocation on Life Below Zero. I also wanted to know how the Selden family was doing with their baby, Sidney. I hoped she would be the last.
Why would anyone care about there eyes my gosh that family are wonderful people! All three young ladies are beautiful and I agree with the youngest why would anyone care it is how God made them!!! I think they should stay on the boat and still live in the refuge who care if they don’t live in a cabin any more. They still have two cabins they built and still can use!

They will never make a show about Native Americans or locals from Alaska. If your parents are not from Alaska your not either. Its a native belief. Very few locals appreciate the media coverage. But the tourist businesses promote themselves. That's what they do. Howlee's move here and rent a post office box, buy a Alaska T shirt and get an Alaska identication card and now they're from Alaska in their minds. It once went like this. A couple of serious top tier beatings and they flee back to the mainland. Now they create a website and send out the invitations.
