Heimana's pops, Matt ABSOLUTELY RIPPED surfing. Everyone always bugged him to compete seriously. He could have easily mopped up tour guys of the era. Matt had "the coolest brahdah you knew" gene, with the most classic comedic timing. I've got a few memories of cracking up in Ms. Hirano's class with Matt. No surprise Matt's boy is a world champ with a humble attitude. SOLID!
This is so sick!! This dudes skating is next level. Very innovative. Very creative. Pure poetry in motion. Strong spirit. Definitely a forerunner for what is possible on a skateboard.
