Hey new subscriber 👋and welcome to the channel. The kinetic splitter sure is a great machine and i do love using the machine but unfortunately the machine has now got a major fault and will not operate. This machine has been used in a commercial setting and has done many many tons of wood and has done fantastic. Thank you very much and look forward to seeing you in the comments again 👍 take it easy pal.
Good morning Nick. Thanks for the shout out. Once you get a kinetic you didn't ever want to touch those hydraulics again. I have a pair of those tongs but made by Fisker. I'm always finding the log that doesn't fit. I'm sure if they were bigger I'd still keep finding the log that was too big lol. You've been busy buddy. Good work
Hey Jerry 👋 not a problem on the shoutout, you know us Frontier and kinetic owners stick together 😆 I just wish the kinetic splitter was working at full capacity and not having this dreaded judder motion, it is hindering the operation of the machine. Ill have to have a look at the Fiskar tongs, i didnt realise they made any tongs. I think the problem is some rounds are larger than the tongs can handle but for me, i only cut at 9" so i can handle them that way. I have handled 3 foot diameter rounds just by the width i have cut them at not by diameter of the log. Thank you as always buddy, take care 👍
Hey William, the kinetic splitter is great and will smash through anything when it is working correctly. The speed is night and day different to that of a hydraulic unit but there are many things to go wrong unlike hydraulic but still my number one choice for sure. Thank you for commenting 👍
Did a thumbs up at the TV when you said the boss likes the tabletop Coo 😊 I reckon it would be better changing the channel name, professional and marries up nicely with everything else. More so if your plans come to fruition 😉
Hey and thank you for commenting. That is interesting to read your input. The clutch unit i have put in only 2 years ago has failed with this judder so i cant imagine the bearings on the unit will have failed so soon. I have a theory that the rack is riding too high and causing the judder, this is only theory of course and i will have to try it to see if that is the reason. Thank you for your insight and comment 👍
Still love my Jansen kinetic, I don't have the same judder as yours, rather my judder is in the engagement handle, currently have a bungee cord pulling it back which helps. Considering Eastonmade splitters are available in the UK, it would be fantastic if someone imported the super splits.
I love my Jansen kinetic splitter too, just id like it to be running 100% all the time every time. Its a real shame about the clutch unit being so unreliable and prone to failure. I have tried what yours is doing and to no joy with mine. Yes i know the guy who imports them, hes called Ian and hes a lovely chap, i wonder if he could add a shipment into his container when he was coming over. Id have to see what price they are first of all. I also like the look of EastonMade splitters too. Maybe one day.
Hey dougie and thank you for commenting, unfortunately there are no more spares available for these machines, its a shame because once ours break, thats it, they are done. How is yours holding up ? any issues ? thank you.
Hi Nick - it’s Big Rodders in Ireland. What are the options for kenetic splitters in the UK? I contacted SuperSplit but they have no plans to export to Europe. My condolences on the death of your Dad. Mine passed away in 2011 aged 97. I still think of him when seeking advice on many issues and am guided by what approach he’d take.
Hey buddy and thank you for your kind words, i dont think the loss of fatherly advice can ever be replaced. There are the black tools kinetic splitter in the UK and are basically the exact copy id say of Super Split. I am working on something so bear with me. Thank you for commenting as always 👍
Just my opinion, but keep it simple , your business name can stay what it is and the channel should be separate, but if it helps you can promote your business and name on the channel, I don’t usually share my opinions , in the end do what you feel is best for you, take care buddy
Thank you for your opinion on this one. I think yes im going to keep them seperate. I thought about it and im keeping it apart. I appreciate your view on this one. Take it easy buddy 👍
great to see it.
Thank you.
New subscriber. That's a nice machine. Seems to work well. So we'll catch you on another one. My friend have a good day.

Impressive splitter !!
Thank you and thank you for commenting.
Nice seeing your kinetic bust thru those big rounds again. So fast compared to my old hydraulic unit.

The Judder and slow return on mine was cured by changing the two main bearings, had mine for 5 years and thats all its needed. Regards

Hi, what do you mean exactly ? do you mean where am i in the UK ?
Show us the machine working 😮

Thank you.

Hi Nick, think your machine is the same as my .Rock Machinery kinetic.
Can you still get spares for yours
Regards Dougie
