Same here. Battery health went from 100 to 90% since the release of the first iOS 18 beta. Battery life is terrible and the phone heats up even when its on the table doing nothing.
Really hoping the whole EU not accepting the AI issue will be resolved soon. So many things we’re missing out on. It should be up to the individual user if they want to update their own software or not.
Soon EU will be divided from the rest of the world It will be like chine where applications only works there etc Maybe Apple will create a new cheaper and less smart iPhone for European users in the future

I don’t have the new iPhone, but I do have new M4 iPad Pro, and iPadOS gets the same upgrade, with the new Siri. Also excited, but waiting for the official install, the 18.0 update turned some M4 iPads into bricks beyond repair even in the official version 😅

There also is a bug for yahoo mail on the mail app. Not loading in fetch automatically (we have to manually load it). Not sure if you covered it but it’s definitely a bug that’s been happening to all of us since iOS 18.

My phone was overheating with 18.0.1 and on 18.1 it’s been much better all around 👍

I definitely prefer iOS 18.1 over 18.0.1. My battery life was terrible in 18.0.1, and I hope that issue is fixed in 18.1.

I think there should be a longer gap between iOS versions, as just when the older version becomes stable, a new version is released.
