I am a teacher so to me being productive in my feminine also entails the way I hold myself when being around others. I think it’s such a gift when you’re able to walk into a room and bring a soft, relaxed and grounded vibe with you (especially when entering a stressful, hectic, busy environment) 🌺🌸 Just by talking more slowly, smiling openly and taking the time to LISTEN and respond mindfully can have such an impact on yourself and others. I always notice it how when I ground myself and lean back into my feminine, the kids in my classroom have an easier time to calm down and focus. 😇

I am a teacher as well listening with this perspective. I struggle so much with getting overstimulated that I get out of my feminine energy. Any ideas around that?

    • @LauraLangheinrich

@@mariasibbio8844 Oh I totally get overstimulated as well (I am highly sensitive so it happens easily sometimes). What helps me is creating an atmosphere that feels as relaxing as possible - sometimes I play meditation music when my students are working or I even do a guided meditation / breathing exercises with them. Depending on your school you might consider going outside with your students I find that really grounds me and it's less noisy Also making sure there are longer periods of time (depending how old your students are) in which they can really go into a deep work flow without me interrupting, walking around, distracting etc. This benefits my students AND it gives me a break during lessons I also make sure to set boundaries with students when I notice myself getting overstimulated f.e. during breaks my students often want to talk to me so I say "Thank you for sharing this. I also have my break right now and I want to relax. Maybe you can do something that's relaxing for you?" OH and one more thing - trying not to multi-task as much... I often catch myself using every tiny break I have to do something "productive" instead of just sitting, breathing, relaxing... Of course this doesn't always happen but I try to include it as much as possible! Hope any of this helps! xx

I would definitely love more of these conversations! I needed this so badly today. I can sense that I’m going to get my period soon and I feel so much slower, needing rest, etc. I feel the need to embrace my feminine energy and be flexible with my expectations throughout the day, not rushing and pushing through even though that’s the opposite of what my body is telling me. Thank you Kalyn ❤

Having struggled with leaning into my feminine for years, this video is so timely as I have been leaning more, surrendering more. Being able to feel safe and trust loved ones (and ourselves) can make a big difference so we can let ourselves to embrace our feminine. Baby steps! Learning to accept support, gifts, compliments is still a challenge but I feel like I am making progress there even if it’s saying a heartfelt thank you without arguing against what is freely (and lovingly) given.

Absolutely relate to being so stuck in the masculine - buying into hustle culture, attaching my worth to my productivity.. along with avoidant attachment and need to be independent !! Still unlearning but it was really at a point where I could not rest at all

I definitely struggle to balance my masculine and feminine energies. I’ve been grinding and work and school for so many years, and I’ve been correlating value with productivity. As I finish my master’s degree I want to start dating again, and I think I’d be a better partner if I worked for that balance more.

I own a drive through coffee shop (rushed and impatient energy to the MAX) and I’ve had to fight like hell to create peace within that and steer the energy around my business to be more relaxed and peaceful. Absolutely love hearing it from your perspective and love reflecting on the balance I’ve felt come into my own life over the years

I think you have such a gift of bringing enlightened concepts and truth and putting it all together into a form that can be easily understood and taken in by other people. Please keep doing these talks and just sharing your energy and light with the world, we so need this right now. Your presence is so safe, comforting and peaceful. I came from a very toxic family, my mother being a genuine narcissist, and hearing and seeing you heal from a family pattern that was similar to mine, seeing how you overcame and grew into a vert stable and peaceful presence gives me hope and makes me feel like it is possible and that it will be ok. Thank you so much Kalyn. ❤

The Universe has it's ways... Today it dawned on me that I am border line burnt out. So I grabbed my journal and started reflecting why, as it happens every 6 months or so. And I realised that I push too much and I have way too high expectations of myself. I push, crash and burn. At the end I feel defeated, disappointed and ashamed. To compensate it all I push even harder, and I crash, and I burn all over again. I've been in this cycle for quite some time now.
I am a millennial myself and I agree with you. We grew up with certain notions of what being productive and successful looks like. The masculine way of doing things is so far from who I truly am and since that's the only way I know how to 'be successful' I push for it and that never ends well.
This video helped me realise that there is a different way to do things and that I can be productive, successful and fulfilled while leaning into my feminine energy and being more myself. I'm looking forward to explore it. Thank you!

Just yesterday I was contemplating why I have such a difficult time receiving. I am generally very in touch with my feminine- or so I thought. While it is true that I tend to be softer and in touch with my emotions, there is a lot that I keep guarded in order to avoid asking for help or seeming less than. And a big thing I was contemplating yesterday was why it is so difficult for me to accept compliments, praise, or attention. It has been a recurring observation, and this talk cleared up a whole lot of confusion within and resonated with my inner knowing. Thank you so much for sharing. I am incredibly grateful the universe led me to these words, which shed light on a whole lot of truth. :)

Such a great topic! For me tapping into my feminine energy was definitely asking for support and letting go of control. I’m able to have love and confidence in others and my husband to receive and accept love and support. This was a challenge after years of hyper-independence due to unstable childhood conditions.

The hire help part; I am a single mum of two girls and I just went self employed as a illustrator while my two are in school. I’ve been building up my work for stationary for three years for my own shop but it takes time. I’m learning video editing, marketing, product design, so much! And I do try to take on a lot. The pressure to do this in the one year I have been given by registering as self employed in the uk, makes me put myself under huge amount of pressure to avoid failure. But I love how you explain this. Community was always the way and still should be the main focus . This video came up at the perfect time!

I abandoned a relationship where I was leading my partner. It was tiring. Yes, I was fully in power. Felt on top. But over time I found out I don’t want to be on top, I do not need to be the leader of the whole machine. So I am happy I finally found me a man who wants to handle things. And I let him take the responsibility. Men enjoy it. And I think we should be fair and say that we enjoy resting, nurturing, cooking, making a home for them while they handle the heavy stuff, the hard stuff, the renovation, the book cabinet or the naughty child who just needs their dad as support.

I think over the last few years, I've finally been embracing that feminine energy. I left a job that was just go go go...panic mode...found a job that is more manual labor, but doesn't tax my brain or emotions. Since then, I've been more deep into my gardening, my art, my relationships. The privilege of playing with my daughter. And it is more productive in a way. Because I'm doing more stuff, but almost never in a hurry

I think it's so important that you shared that you hired a nanny. I'm also a working mom, running a business from home to fully support my family of 4 and there's pushback for not being able to do it all. How are we supposed to be with our kids 24/7 and maintain a growing career? It's also wild to me that the shame comes from women who put the pressure on themselves to do it all, but no one ever shames dads for having help with the kids. Such a weird double standard.

    • @KalynsCoffeeTalk
      @KalynsCoffeeTalk  Рік тому

That's exactly it. I feel we were taught to somehow do and be both (a stay at home mom who creates and keeps a nurturing home while also working and building up a career). Combine it with maintaining your health, relationship, friendships and interests and its a recipe for burn out and failure with shame often baked into hiring or asking for help in any way possible (if you aren't lucky enough to have regular help coming from extended family, which many don't!) All power and peace to you in your journey of balancing both! ♥️
