So good to show this car Benny, reallly appriciat. It was my grandfathers last car in the eighties, same model as this one but european specifications. We always kept the car in a dry shed for 35 yeasrs. During lockdown i started making the little car roadworthy again. Now it is semi restored and used as a daily driver in summertime.Really gets inpressive gas milage and is really fun to drive , despite it beiing an automatic. Super rare here in the Netherlands. Take it to car shows quit often where it gets more attention than my 1983 Buick Regal brougham, but that may also come from the fact that my rather cute and friendly little chinese girlfriend drives the Datsun and myself the Buick. Thanks again Benny for all the splendid content really appriciated! Greeting from Henry Hendriks and Li Hua Wang from the beautiful town of Arnhem in the Netherlands

Datsun B-210, I had a 1975 four door. It was like a lime green color.

Used to see those B210’s everywhere after the gas crisis. A buddy of mine back in high school inherited his parents 4 cyl 4 speed Datsun 510 wagon, that thing would go all day on 5 bucks of gas while our old American beaters would barely make it to the next gas station. The little Datsun pickups were everywhere back then too, been so long since they dropped the name I clean forgot about ‘em!

I remember a friend had a B210 Honeybee. It didn't have the normal 4 speed H shift pattern. 1st gear was low and to the right

I bought my 70 Torino GT from a friend who bought one of those for gas ⛽️ milage.
It was red in color and yes they were everywhere unfortunately.

Being rear drive, that could make a cool hot rod with a small V8. Assuming something could be adapted to fit.

unfortunately this one like most of the vehicles I show in the junkyards, end up getting crushed. Another cool car I found recently that will be on the channel is a 1979 datsun 200sx

That would be a fun "Will it run" video. I'd take it home and make it run again. Too bad about the huge dent on passenger side. Could be fixed. Supra engine would be killer.

Whoa Nelley, 1975 and not soon to be alive. These were everywhere back in the day, and then they were not....
We got the VIN, we win: H for A13 or A14 engine (in this case A14 or 1.4L), L for left hand drive, B210 for Datsun B210 and the rest is the production sequence. These were produced in the Zama plant in Japan. The lack of a "K" in front of the "H" means that this vehicle is a sedan and not a hatchback. No (trim) tag, can't brag, but possible code 305 Bright Blue exterior paint.
Whoa Nelley, B210 and gotta go. That's it, time to quit. A14 and soon to be out the door. Parts made in Japan and ready for the trash can. Going to be flat and that's that. Shifter on the floor and it don't go no more. Going to get squished and nah, nobody here and not really the Google Man is going to be that pissed.

I have one of these with 18,000 miles on it not a single Speck of rust and I coated every part of this car with cosmoline so that it can never us because of Dachshunds are made of inferior steel that rests very quickly. Completely gone through it and it's really nice I'm going to have air conditioning, even it's original radiator is perfect. You ought to see the prices these sell for used with like 150,000 miles on it and they still want like more than I paid for the car I got with 150000 fewer miles and no rust at all. When I saw it with such low mileage I immediately bought it because I saw the prices other people were trying to get for these with almost 200,000 miles on them.
