Even though his hometown is in Texas, he had to travel north east to NJ to strengthen his wrestling skills. He wrestled at Blair Academy and Bergen Catholic. Both schools are in NJ.
It's bullshit that private schools can essentially recruit in high school whereas public schools can't for some reason. Kinda makes you wonder how certain programs are always loaded year after year. Part of it is from the coaches and home grown talent, but Blair and others get it from recruiting.
Texas guy will benefit from additional technical training from a good coach. Stays in mostly good position and demonstrates incredible strength for his size.
Can’t stand Ferrari if some others guys acted like him they would get thrashed people still hate on Caldwell for back flipping out of excitement when he beat metcalf and don’t condemn Brett for hitting him
Still trying to find what's so spectacular about AJ. All i can point out is talent snd skills change so much from year to decade to generation. He is good, but average. May be an NCAA champ, BUT stack him up against the weight classe of recent past. He wouldn't place, or perhaps not even qualify. Hell, when I was his age and we met up and shooting like that, he'd lose.
He's fast, strong, flexible and never tires. His offense is stifling and he won 197 is dominating fashion. His opponents had no answer to his attacks. Also, during the tournaments, he improved every match. I also think he and John Smith make a good match.
0:20 was the smoothest transition from a failed shot i've seen in a long time.
Smoother than 4:17?
Dudes so fucking strong he just laced up the thighs and said fuck below the knee lol.
I wonder what his deadlift was at this point
690 lbs
445
At least 1 pound
I think it was RAD 140
over 9000 clearly

Do you have a happy life

Did a lot of tournaments in Oklahoma too.
I need some of that stuff. Arkansas is not giving me the experience I need, even though I’m working my butt off
now he's a criminal.
That guy must have forgotten he’s wrestling free style
What's the odds he is related to Enzo?
Maybe like 5%
In the 90s, Texas had one of the best wrestlers at Fargo. He was in the upper weights but I can't remember his name.
What’s the name of the technique Ferrari uses when Assad collar ties him? Over tie? Over post? Or something else?
He does the same thing I do, I think it is a over post. He uses his thumbs to block his shoulder and stop him from closing distance.
Thumb block
Overtie and then a thumb block in the throat
Its the knee pads

He just won an NCAA title back in March lol
Bull crap a lot of these referees try to affect the outcome!!
I always wonder why he isn’t paralyzed yet seeing his lifting form.
form isn’t inherently what injures you. its load management. bad form might lower efficiency though
I heard Ferrari just got engaged to himself
Can’t stand Ferrari if some others guys acted like him they would get thrashed people still hate on Caldwell for back flipping out of excitement when he beat metcalf and don’t condemn Brett for hitting him
4:17
