    You will only get that feeling of hearing the engine on a successful start up with becoming a father that’s the only 2 things I care about is my family and my hotrod. Congrats on your truck starting up it sounds great.

    Condensation is just from start stop short run times.....I just went through this myself. Get it all squared away to run and drive for 30 mins or so cos if you keep doing the start stop thing with the learn on it will get bad data and screw you up, the Holley base timing table in the wizard is also terrifying so scale and square that tune away first thing before running it up or you will be chasing your tail to have it fixed up later if that makes sense. Aaron from green shorts performance helped me big time.

    Crazy how people go through all the work of fabricating and installing a stock bottom end LS, I mean when it's out why not make the shortblock over kill for the amount of time and $ you've already spent building it?

    • @SneakyZeke
      @SneakyZeke  2 роки тому

      I built it with a stock bottom end so that if i had to weld on anything in the car, a built bottom end wouldn't get messed up for no reason. They normally call it a "mock block" this is just a mock block that runs. Now that it's all done I can swap it to a built block in a weekend.

    • @SneakyZeke
      @SneakyZeke  4 роки тому +1

      at the moment I'm just running spring pressure with a manual controller but I'll get a co2 controller down the road. I figured I'd rather go overkill on the wastegates rather than under and have to rebuild the hot side down the road.

      Try ebay, try DNA, anywhere from $30 plus. Just remember that even though they advertise it for the intended boost your trying to make, but in truth the spring pressure is relevant to the amount of vacuum your engine makes. So you may need to possibly change the spring if it opens too fast or too slow.

    Having bigger waste gates doesn’t give you more control. It does the exact opposite you will have trouble controlling it.

    • @SneakyZeke
      @SneakyZeke  3 роки тому +1

      I see what you’re saying, but I think I’ll be okay with a good enough boost controller system. I also plan on going to larger turbos in the future and I’d like to only buy one set of wastegates since they aren’t cheap.

    • @mikeeagle2653
      @mikeeagle2653 3 роки тому

      SneakyZeke the boost controller has nothing to do with it. The gates are just too big. Those gates are used on big blocks with like twin 88,s
      Twin 46,s is all you need and you will have full control. Call a turbo manufacturer and they will tell you
