My g g grandfather, Samuel M. Payne, was trained at Camp Nelson and was a private in Co. E 8th TN. CAV. I really enjoyed the lecture and hope to visit Camp Nelson in the future.

The sound in this is so bad I couldn't watch it. Even with the volume turned up max.

Thank you also to Generals, Grant, Meade, Sherman, and Sheridan for helping fill up Hollywood Cemetery with Confederate war dead.
It got better at 1:50 or so.
So why was the Union Army invading Kentucky ?
