hey SAM i forgot to mention, good way to keep the jumps from getting muddy, i live in a area of the states thats wet a lot. we have some big jumps built and had that problem. so what we did and never had a issue since. we dug out the lows and between jumps and filled it with 9 inches of 7 inch stone then we topped it off with fine crushed stone and covered it with a clay and loam combo. you can ride in a downpour and still speed through. it worked so well i did it to my 700ft driveway. drains so good its the dream. keep up the GREAT vids my whole family cant wait for sundays and wednesdays!!!
Which time? That seems to be a running theme ;) Seriously though, the trick with the pipe cutter has gotten me out of the odd pickle, paired with the de-buring on pavement.. it's pure dreams.
The next mod I'm assuming will be a dual crown fork...that might actually be pretty cool. I rode a bike with under 6" rear travel, although it was coil spring rather than air shock with a 7" dh fork on it for a while and it worked rather well

Last month I had plans to go to a downhill park, then realized my rear shifter wasn't working. New part didn't arrive in time to fix before the trip, I took the bike anyway and ran it single-speed, setting the chain in the center of the cassette. I had a blast, and didn't even miss any of the other gears.
Hey! Awesome video as always! Always good and entertaining as well as exciting dude! Thank You for the video! Best of luck from me and my Channel!👍❤️🏴
My nukeproof scouts off the road at mo i did 30 miles on my single speed jumpbike today mainly on moor single tracks/bridleways. Amazing views all day made it all worthwhile :)
I love the way , how Sam is painting the most parts himself, absolutely same as me. But there is a big difference , how rich he is and how rich I am .. 😁👌😂🤙🙌
Ride my dirt jumper with a single speed 25 miles (42 km) every day. 30 teeth front, 14 teeth rear. Got a frame with vertical dropout, also needed to install chain tensioner.
About 3 months ago I turned my 03 Azonic Saber into a single speed dirt jumper ...no chain slap on ghost shifting AND lighter weight is why I went single speed tensioner on my Baby.
I loved how my bike felt after converting it to a single speed 🤙🏻🤙🏻 took a while to get it in my head there was no shifter there,i would automatically try shifting and find nothing there 🤣🤣
I’ve rode an old giant faith free ride frame on single speed for over a year… didn’t have money for a decent groupset or an sb1 at the time and found a shimano alfine tensioner to be pretty solid and cheap
I've been running single speed for a few years now; - No broken chains - No bent derailleurs - No bent hangers - No shifting adjustments - No need for an expensive dropper post - No under-bar levers peeling skin off my thumb knuckles - No drivetrain noise I call it the problem free bike.
@@vxsr33 Pedaling while seated is only useful at a specific cadence. Otherwise, it's easier to stand. Single speed riding very rarely gives you the perfect cadence for sitting. I still think sam is one of the most versatile riders, he shreds everything he gets on
Singlespeed on the Enduro, pegs on the DJ, suspension and tires at 500 psi on every bike. Sam just get a BMX finally hahah
Would be sick if he got a fully rigid 26” with pegs and shit
I agree he should shred a bmx
