He got a slap on the wrist, married his girlfriend of 12yrs & then got a teaching job in her home country, Germany.

I'm not buying the idea that he had anything to do with Philip Cairns. There's no way Philip who liked school and was by all accounts well behaved and quiet is going to get into a car with a random sleazy looking stranger to go to the other side of the city. I just don't see it it sounds far fetched. I've lived in Rathfarnham most of my life and I've always believed that the answer to that mystery lies locally. I had a neighbor arrested for possession of c p. He was a “Christian “ had prayer gatherings in house , 2 small kids .. very sweet couple. People told my mum I was lucky I had such nice neighbors. They were so sickly sweet fake nice ran around like trickle sticking to everyone. He was a lecturer in a college. When it came out the wife stayed with him, had another child with him and neighbors continued to let their kids play in their house and even have sleepovers. My son played with their son and I had to refuse to allow him to go into that house . Feeling sorry for the kids involved I told him I couldn’t tell him why but I would when he got older .. I told him if I let go in knowing what I know and something happened him he would never forgive me. You just don’t know who is actually good and also women can also be abusers and sometimes harder to spot.
