they forgot rodeo's, charcoal, crowds, harmonicas, glaciers, dentists, the list just goes on and on. lol
Monk has helped me develop patience for people I know have ocd. Monks shows that he has all of these issues but he really tries to be kind and do the right things. Although he gets on your nerves.
It's doesn't matters. He's afraid of germs and probably hugged and kissed her when she was alive.
Trudy was an exception for everything to Monk. His phobias just increased when died, not before.
In the beginning, before his wife died he did have a small case of obsessive - compulsive disorder. When his wife was murdered the combination of grief and frustration from not being able to solve the case intensified his disorder dramatically. It was at this point that his phobias made him almost a species of his own, and he became afraid of "beautiful women" not before, when he happened to be married to one.
Yeah and I'm glad that they did that because in stressful situations Ocd Does get worse
He didn't have most of these phobias until after Trudy died; Trudy's death triggered his downfall.
Kelly Brasseaux no Trudy just suppressed them. She was the light in his life. Watch the flashback episodes.
It's actually very sad
He got better, though, right?
Trudy gave Monk confidence and hope, when she died it all went away.

Monk obviously didn't have a phobia of beautiful women. Just take a look at Trudy, Sharona and Natalie! I loved this show when it was on tv. I recently purchased the boxed set of the entire series.

why not mention of asperger's syndrome, that is obviously the diagnosis since doesn't understand social cues and has sensory issues and so many other symptoms of being on the autism spectrum. I wish the show mentioned this to raise awareness of high functioning autistm.
