TOMY made some really cool toys in the 70's. My favorite was this water-filled game called Wonderful Waterful. You pushed buttons that released jets of water that moved objects around. The ring toss and basketball versions of this game were especially noteworthy.

I was given a Tomy wind up jack in the box as a kid in the 80s, wich my Dad accidentally stepped on minutes later.
But all the wind up Tomy stuff I had was things like screwball scramble and kongman.

But my Dad was always mega clumsy with his feet, he was. To this day, I've never known anyone else to own a tool box full of nothing but different types of glue to fix his stepping mishaps :D

Hi Weird Paul! My 3-year-old daughter was recently playing with my old Strolling Bowling toy, and must have overwound it, because the spring inside came off. I’ve been trying to figure out where it gets reattached. Is there any chance that you could pop open the outer shell of one of the ball toys (I assume the hopping ones are all similar), and post a picture of what it looks like? I’d really love to be able to fix it for her. Thank you!
I have so many of those wind-up toys that are broken. It would be great to fix them. I don't have time right now to dig into all the boxes where those toys are now though. Maybe next time I have to get into them for something.

I seem to recall seeing a reproduction of the bowling and boxers at Michaels and Barnes n Noble not too long ago... I think there was even a sumo one as well.
