Please keep doing these! I think I speak for 99% of us when I say we came for the games but stayed for the personalities. Just listening to you guys shoot the breeze is great. A podcast should have been on the table from day 1! 😁
Hearing you brothers talk about your childhood memories remind me of my times with my younger brother and neighbor. Either we would hog the two player games too while my baby brother just had to watch. LOL Love ya little bro. Melvor, Jay and Dodongo....you guys rock!
I grew up an only kid but had many cousins that I grew up around. Many of which that would be close like brothers and sisters. One even lived with us for quite few years. I know we could come up with many stories around gaming and whatnot that went on just like you guys. So I get it and it is one of the many reasons I am fan of this channel.
I am glad you guys record stuff like this for the future. Let's face it, guys. We are not getting any younger. I wish I could go to UA-cam and listen to conversations with my Father and my grandparents. As long as we do not get hit with an E.M.P. This interview will exist forever, so family members(and us too) can come back and listen to a cool conversation!
Omg a Phar-Mor shoutout. We had one here in NC and remember getting Saturday Night Slam Masters on Super Nintendo there shortly before they closed down. Good memories. I'm loving these random chat videos btw ♥
Love the show, feels like I'm reliving my childhood listening to you guys. You know what I would really enjoy in a future podcast; Talk about what and where all the people you met throughout the seasons are today.
4:15 yeah in upstate NY a few grocery stores around me did that. A place called Price Chopper i rented stuff from all the time and a place called Tops i think. I made for the video store section as soon as we got into that place every time lol. I remember them having HUGE barrels of candy with giant scoops and bags. That place was great. I actually rented Tomb Raider with my cousin from a grocery store, stayed up all night, 3D gaming was still new and blew our minds. Also i proudly squished my brother repeatidly in Gyromite on purpose, because little brother. I very distinctly remember laughing hysterically every time despite being like 4 or 5.
There were rentals in our Sack-N-Save but we mostly used Video Palace, well until Video Attractions opened up 😂. It became the hangout place as it was on our side of the 4 lane Main Street. VP was across it.
I wish I could have conversations like this with my past friends from back in the day....They weren't family but you guys right here come closest to how I remember those days playing NES and other systems with friends and neighborhood kids.
When I was a young lad, my face was covered in freckles. My grandfather would tell me that as a baby I got too close to the screen door when the cat's butt was on the other side. I believed him for a bit.
Great video! I definitely love hearing about how you all grew up as gamers. Would also love to hear more about all working at Blockbuster. Call it Adventures of Blockbuster Boys
I have so many memories rented a new game but one in particular was when my parents buys the N64 I went to store and rent killer instinct my mom passed away last day and I remembered those days
I am surprised Dodongo didn't bring up the time that he was close to beating Pac-Man or whatever game it was and someone, I think Melvor, pulled the cord and shut it off. I remember that from an old couch discussion years ago.
Phar Mor! oh man that brings back memories. you could rent like 7 games for like $5 there. Their selection wasn't the greatest so it was quantity over quality, but as a kid it was awesome
I agree with the comments 100% ! I absolutely dig listening to you cats talk about the old times. I got hip to your channel some years ago and never turned back. (all of the off shoot videos etc) ALL of you are the most realest mother fuckers IMO! Shit.... I wish I knew all of y'all back in the day . I would wager to say that your all a bunch of really good folks on AND off camera ! GC4life
So crazy to hear you guys talk about playing NBA Jam & Mortal Kombat on the Sega Genesis! Dude those were my main games I had on rotation on the Genesis!!! Will never forget the day I got Mortal Kombat it was my 11th or 12th Birthday wake up early in the morning to open up my present open it up Mortal Kombat baby I can hardly contain myself cause I am bout to pull an all day gaming extravaganza! (My mom would let me stay home on my bday❤). Run up stairs to my room to get started tear off the packaging open up the case and llying there before my eyes is not Mortal Kombat but a friggin Kellogs Cinnamon poptart package already opened with one pop tart missing!!! I shot you not I was totally befuddled but figured my mom so ehow pulling a trick on me. So I confront mom about it and she was as confused as I was. So now reality kicks in and I start balling my eyes out cause I figured I am totally screwed. Mind you what a HUGE deal Mortal Kombat was at the time it was the most hyped game ever to that point and prob still is and I had waited all these months for it. Also being how poor ee were there was no way my mom would be able to get me another copy. So we decide to go to Target where she bought it and tell them what happened figuring worst they can say is sorry. Go to target tell customer service what happened and they were totally shocked they get the manager and I think he knew we were being straight up by how upset I was and they knew no wwy a kid would be able to fake that kind of befuddlement. So they hooked us up with another copy and I had my birthday filled with head ripping fatality greatness. Hope karma got the person who switched out the game for the pop tart.
you finally found a good use for the famous dead pixel... put it over Billy's stupid face.... jk, love you guys and love the new podcast!! Keep em coming.
I love childhood stories from the Hatfields - thought I wish Tim was there. I dont think you all have had a video where all 4 brothers are present at the same time? Also Melvor I am with you - the sun and heat completely saps me of energy. I dont know how you tolerate the Texas heat.
Great video, but WTF happend on the end?? Melvor looked pissed off walking away, while Dodongo (my hero) and Jay looked like uuuh.... and then there is another guy that is not Billy. Whut??
Love the new editions of the new format me and my friends have been doing this for years sitting around talking about the old days. Tell Melborn you could play four players on the Nintendo they made a couple of adapters I think but I know they made one specifically called the four score and then I think there was a wireless one as well
Damn the guy Mickey Monus who owned Phar-Mor is from my hometown. I didn’t know they reached all the way to Texas damn. Phar-mor rise and fall is a wild wild story.
Billy I too remember renting from drug and grocery stores (I think you are just a handful of years older than I am). local pharmacy, Cub, and County markets always had a surprisingly good slate of nes and snes games for me.
Wow. PharMor. I haven’t heard that name in 25 yrs at least. I remember they had 5 day rentals $1.99 each or 3 for $5 . Also at the bottom of each receipt it had stats of how many rentals you have done in your lifetime. It was crazy to see how many you rented in just one summer. Was Skaggs Alpha Beta , then Skaggs Albertsons the grocery store you were thinking of?
That happened to me. Sold my N64 CiB Duke Nukem. For dirt cheap. I had just bought it recently too. My copy of Glover got the most money out of any game sold yet I got a equal share to pick out a ps1 game. We ended up with 2 PS1s in the house(how stupid was that?). Ended up replacing it while watching Game Chasers but I've sold it again since, I just keep digital versions of the best games that are playable on PC & backups of them as well. Don't know if I'll ever re-buy them but it has taught me to keep that stuff available & not let go of it, also I care a lot less about new games, keeps me focused on progress. Project64 is pretty dang good for most N64 only games, not perfect but it's visually superior without the need for a bunch of hardware to get the signal scaled properly. Then the games that don't run well I find on other systems PC first then other consoles from there. Rant out.
so glad to watch a podcast where its just not one guy chattering the whole time constantly prattling about everything and anything unlike some other podcast
Thumbs up for Less Bill
Thumbs up for more Dodongo 😂😂😊
Where’s Timmy T?
Where’s Timmy T?
Noooo! Its exactly right like you did it! Billy making the host is a great idea!
Hell no. The world needs more William!
I could legit listen to these guys talk about their childhood for hours.
Yes
These videos are just too good and having Dogongo is always a plus.
He's looking good too...I mean less bad in all honesty 😂
Please keep doing these! I think I speak for 99% of us when I say we came for the games but stayed for the personalities. Just listening to you guys shoot the breeze is great. A podcast should have been on the table from day 1! 😁
Absolutely LOVING the regular uploads these days.
Glad to hear it!
Great format fine tuning. Billy as the show host is legit next level.
You guys have a special place in my heart. One day I just want to say hi to yall and say thank you for being who you are.
Broooo, please more of these type of videos. Content is gold
Listening to your guys' memories, unlocks my own memories. Great podcast chodes!
Hearing you brothers talk about your childhood memories remind me of my times with my younger brother and neighbor. Either we would hog the two player games too while my baby brother just had to watch. LOL Love ya little bro. Melvor, Jay and Dodongo....you guys rock!
Could literally watch you guys talking about your childhood stories for hours!
Hell ya! Really enjoying these videos💪
Glad to hear it!

Melvor is that guy who is afraid of the sun in Benchwarmers. lol. Loved this episode guys!!!
Amazing guys, love to hear these trips down memory lane
Love it when the brothers get together. To funny!
I am glad you guys decided to do a podcast. These things are hilarious!
Omg a Phar-Mor shoutout. We had one here in NC and remember getting Saturday Night Slam Masters on Super Nintendo there shortly before they closed down. Good memories. I'm loving these random chat videos btw ♥
Dodongo!!! Don’t get me wrong, love you all, but always a treat to see the bridge troll
Dodongo Hates Smoke
Love the show, feels like I'm reliving my childhood listening to you guys. You know what I would really enjoy in a future podcast; Talk about what and where all the people you met throughout the seasons are today.
Surprisingly Melvor has been my favorite part of the shows .
Dodongo and Jay roasting Melvor for the 45 minutes in the sun was hilarious 😂😂😂💀
Always happy to see dodongo. Love and respect bois
I appriciate seeing Keeb's photo in the background. Miss that dude.
Awesome video! I think we would all love a video with Tim included to have 4 brothers on the screen at once !
Great Video & Audio!

That Shipwreck pop in the background is the one I sent Billy.
Melvor is Howie from The Benchwarmers movie 😂😂😂😂😂
Great video guys! I'm still laughing at Melvors reaction to the sun 😂
The Brady Bunch lemon juice. hahaha def remember that!
*definitely
First started watching game chasers I could tell Jay & dodongo were brothers. Kinda shocked melvor was a brother
I knew it! Melvor is a vampire!
We need Bob Hill on the pod!
I freakin love these videos. Great job, guys.
This is gamechasers new series called: Video Game Intervention
I wish I could have conversations like this with my past friends from back in the day....They weren't family but you guys right here come closest to how I remember those days playing NES and other systems with friends and neighborhood kids.

Heck ya. Finally someone else that remembers Phar-Mor!
Dodongos looking human, good for him
I use to rent video games from a gas station in Louisiana the Racetrac gas station . They had movies too
Didn't hear the Gameboy mentioned. Did any in the video have one?
I have so many memories rented a new game but one in particular was when my parents buys the N64 I went to store and rent killer instinct my mom passed away last day and I remembered those days
Boulder Dash on the nes was the game my family would try to beat together !!
The sun is absolutely what causes freckles. You have the internet in your pocket, it’s so easy to research anything these days.
Dodongo looks like a sage in a Zelda game.
I am surprised Dodongo didn't bring up the time that he was close to beating Pac-Man or whatever game it was and someone, I think Melvor, pulled the cord and shut it off. I remember that from an old couch discussion years ago.
He still never beat Mega Bug.
@@TheMelvor Wow 😲
Jeez, I can't remember the last time someone taked about Phar-mor. We used to rent movies there.
Love these podcasts!
I remember renting game gear games at pharmor.
Phar Mor! oh man that brings back memories. you could rent like 7 games for like $5 there. Their selection wasn't the greatest so it was quantity over quality, but as a kid it was awesome

This is awesome stuff we need until another Chaser’s video drops 👍 Is it possible to do a podcast in Jay’s apartment 😂

They had a livestream once

7-11 movie rentals, i still question how they kept up with who rented them

I'm a year late on this comment but this should really be a podcast. I'd 100% listen to these talks every week
I never noticed how handsome Melvor is. Look at him. God damn!
Dat drip.

To be fair you can play secret of mana with 3 people with the multi tap add on

Glad you liked it!
Are we old now? We get around and talk about the old times lol
We are all old now
@@JungleCatRico young at heart!
I think I would have lost it if you had the angry sun from Mario edited to be attacking Melvor
Loving these videos
If Melvor would just look a little bit to the his left the 4 player TMNT would click lol. You guys always bring me laughs and smiles. I appreciate it
wishbone era?
like “what’s the story wishbone?”
👍
Thanks Jay for selling the game's 😂😅😊
Loving this
River City Ransom isn’t overrated, it’s fucking awesome.
