My Mother died during Ramadan and was buried on Friday during the blessed month, Alhamdulillah. She was the first Ghusl I ever helped with, SubhanAllah!!! That was so beautiful; Sisters I did not even know helping to get my Mother laid to rest in goodness, Alhamdulillah. Laylatul Qadr I fell after Salat in the evening and broke a metatarsal in my right foot in two places. One of my Mother's birds left to me had a stroke after my Mother's burial and during Ramadan, but is still holding on and getting better. Walahi!!! Please make dua for me and for all of our Brothers and Sisters that are hurt and suffering in this temporal world, Ameen.
@@sayeda18 Brother, your message is full of goodness in kind. I ask Allah SWT to bless you for your entire life, in the Dunya and Achira, and to give you Jannatul Firdaus in the highest station for asking for my Mother's grave to be a piece of Jannah. She said the Shahada a few weeks / couple months before she died (I wish I wrote down the exact date but she was so sick I just did not think to do that at the time). That was all I wanted, and I had to give all of it to Allah, SubhanAllah. My Mother goes to her grave in a higher position than me, MashaAllah. She told me she loved God Almighty too, closer to her death. I have never been to a Janazah or an Islamic burial before. I told the Imam with honesty that this was an area of Islam I knew the least about. My home has been where I learned about Islam, and where I took care of my Mother (we are both reverts). So, I really mean I had to give it all over too Allah SWT to take care of her final moments in this worldly life. Her eyes were always similar to mine in color, but they turned this beautiful color of green hours before she died. I think of Jibreel AS and the green on his blessed body when I think about her eyes. I even pointed out her eyes to a hospital staff member that was moving her to where they provided Hospice services. Then at the washing, she looked like she was bathed in light. I cannot explain but she just did not look dead, Alhamduilliah. What an honor to wash your Mother before she is laid to rest. I could not believe all of the Brothers and Sisters that stayed to pray Janazah for her at the Masjid. The lines and rows of people there during Ramadan, it was so very beautiful. Strangers, praying for a stranger, Alhamdulillah. Brothers and Sisters telling me how rare it is for Janazah and rain during Ramadan. Then the people that came to the grave. It was so very loving, and peaceful. The peace radiated everywhere. It made me think of when our beloved Prophet SAW told his companions that the cloud that came to them were Angels that brought them peace by the leave of Allah SWT. At the burial site, the funeral director gave me money to give to the people that opened and closed the ground for her. I did not know this was customary. Then he told me the funeral costs were covered. What?!? Walahi!!! I will not let that go unpaid though. I know that I must repay the funeral fund at the Masjid. I could not have made a more beautiful funeral. I cannot repay what was given to me by Allah SWT though this entire process in ease, to my Mother in blessing, and how Allah SWT took such care of her. I can only say that it is so true that no one will leave this religion of Islam because they are discontent with it. May Allah SWT bless you without bound, my Brother, for the excellent character and love you show in your message, Ameen.
