Thank you
Good afternoon. I’m still new to the cctv world and a Do it Yourself homeowner and had a question about the power supply. I have all 8 cameras on a power supply box and wanted to know if I can make my dvr connect to the power supply as well. It seems safe but not too sure if it actually is.
A DVR comes with its own power supply. Just use it. I don't see any reason to use the same power supply for the cameras and the DVR.
@@LearnCCTV Yes I completely agree. It’s just the cable management is what I’m picky about is all. Trying to get everything compiled into one section of wiring. I just saw that as an option to do but not to much of a subject matter expert in it.
hello why this power supply starts with Neutral while others starts with Hot Wire?
Is danger for camera , dvr , and hard disk if the power suplly out put volt not 12 volt but 14 volt or 13.30 volt?
Can this volt damage my camera or dvr or hard disk?
Im using power supply colin 30 ampir for 7 camera 5 mega and 2 tera hard disk out put volt 13.8 by electric current and when the electric current disconected the ups out put for power supply and 5 camer , dvr , hard disk only 12 or 12,5 or 11 this ups just for dvr and camera system not for monitor he cannot out put 220 volt but i can make my system recored whil the electric current is disconected is this ups danger? Is it can damage my system?
What is the professional power supply? I could not find the link you mentioned.
A Power Supply designed for CCTV with fuses, one connections per camera and at least 1A per camera (if you are using regular dome or bullets)
