If you love 'Time After Time' please do listen one (or all) of the sublime live versions by Miles Davis and his various line-ups of genius players .. Cyndi was (and I'm sure is) immensely proud of the fact that Miles recorded her song .. from Songfacts .. "Lauper told The Sun July 25, 2008 that this is her favorite of all the many cover versions of this track. She added: "I mean it's Miles. Wow. Mindblowing!" " .. they'll make you cry ...

"Two-tone (or 2 tone) is a genre of British music that fuses traditional ska with musical elements of punk rock and new wave music.[1] Its name comes from 2 Tone Records, a label founded by Jerry Dammers of The Specials,[2] and references a desire to transcend and defuse racial tensions in Thatcher-era Britain; many two-tone groups, such as The Specials, The Selecter, and The Beat featured a mix of black, white, and multiracial people. (Continued) ... " Cheers! :-))))))) ...
