Just got home from Nashville. My old Nashville is gone too much traffic too many people. Won't be back maybe never! Not about the music anymore all about the $$$$$$so sad!
I came to Nashville to go to school and just never wanted to leave so I have been here ever since then. That was …. drum roll please... in 1965 that I came here. I was never homesick even one day and I still love this city. I am partially disabled now and it is very difficult for me to get out so I thoroughly enjoyed the drive through Nashville through the lens of your camera. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Visited here last week. A couple things to know: 1. Everybody is friendly & polite. 2. Every bar & restaurant has a live band or a person with a guitar. 3. Lots of rooftop bars & restaurants. 4. Everything’s centrally located basically off Broadway. Great place to visit!
@@jadefo2433 - Well, everything is sort of in the _center_ , you can get to the places you want to go without going too far off from that _center_ . Everything is off Broadway. Broadway is a long street. Where you want to go would be a street crossing (or off of) Broadway. (Not sure if this was a real inquiry or if you were joking around.)
Amazing how much different everything would look if this video were made today in March 2019. About 50% of what you see in this video is now different.
@@arunveergrewal4346 Bad way to those that were already here. Good way to all the newcomers ... I think half of NY lives here now! They're just bulldozing the city and recreating the places they left from. Traffic mess, high cost of living, and bars and booze everywhere! Nashville is currently the latest greatest example of gentrification ... in the worst way.
You need to ride through there now. A lot of the buildings you see are gone and they're putting up and have put up new buildings. It's totally different now.
Very knowledgeable video. any traveller visiting Nashville, Tennessee for Hotel accommodation please check the video ua-cam.com/video/LMizJV_0BgE/v-deo.html
RCB - Yes, and it's weird to see so few people. I almost thought it was during lockdown. So many many cars, but barely so any people. If you go downtown at the wrong time, you'll surely see more folks than that, especially on Broad.
Let's just say in 2010 there are 10-15 buildings (example) well.. in Nashville there would be like 30 or more bc every year atleast 10 or a little less towers are built and 100 people at average move in every day some say Nashville could get close to Dallas..
Nashville, the capitol of Tennessee, amazes me. With People First of New Hampshire I have attended a national self-advocacy conference and met more nice people.
It looks so strange to see the old downtown convention center in this video. It was razed a few years ago. There is now a much larger building in the area where the old convention center was. The new downtown convention center replaced it in 2015.
I live in Nashville and the last time I rode a city bus, and I will admit it has been many years, they stopped running at 11:00 p.m. If some now run all night I have never seen them. I think if you are coming here on vacation I would plan to take a cab or Uber after 11 p.m. It depends on the route but I think the buses run every 15 minutes, every 30 minutes and some only once an hour.
Educacion Paes - In my opinion, it's likely less dangerous than other cities of its size. Cost of living is less than other cities its size, but the costs seem to be going up quickly. I would not say it's hard to start a new life. But like anywhere you go, plan way ahead before you get there. Do a trial run of the place you think you'll live, and you'll be fine.
No homeless, tents, human waste in the streets like San Francisco and Los Angeles. Nashville is a beautiful city. I grew up about 45 miles to the west, I have driven these streets many times. I dont get back there very often, but its a great place to visit.
Hector McMillan Nashville is fucking village compare to LA. Nashville barely has 600000 people whereas LA has almost 4,000,000,000 people and there’s no 124000 living on The streets of LA
The big mall here is Opry Mills. Only move here if you like unbelievably over populated places. Rush hr traffic is a nightmare. Also, I don't know what kind of Church you are looking for but we have been all around this city looking for a good Bible believing Church. Been to many many churches. This place is DRY!! We are so ready to move to another area.
Wholesaler Gal - Everyone has a different perspective. Unlike C P, I think Nashville is a great place. Nashville could be over populated to some; not for others. I've lived places that were more populated, and maybe there's something to be said for not living directly in the downtown area. I'm completely happy, and do not consider to be over populated. Go to New York, DC/Northern Virginia area, or spots in Atlanta. That's over populated. We are in the Bible belt, so there must be a church for you. But some people just aren't happy anywhere. Maybe do an extended visit and figure out for yourself.
We must have watched two different videos....I counted six different streets....the last one he drove on counts as two....Broadway, 6th, Demonbreun, 4th, 1st, and Hermitage Ave.
***** yea i dont know what video u saw but it was like 3 or 4 streets which the main street was broadway then her turned around on 1st then went back up broadway then turn left then when in front of music center then turn 4th then back onto broadway then back on 1st
Many of the parents in Nashville ignore traffic laws with their kids. Many of these are civil servants. Youth in Tennessee deserve to see law-abiding, ethical and conscientious civil servants. Their future depends upon it. Perhaps doubling traffic fines in capital cities like Nashville, would introduce law-abiding streets and adults. Imagine law-abiding streets and adults in Nashville! Imagine!!!
I hated living in Nashville....The city is tired and boring....I went to school in Nashville at TSU.....I had to get the hell out of Nasty-ville......transferred to FAMU in Tallahassee, Florida......

I use to live in Clarksville and I always get excited when I go to Nashville because it’s very vintage there but still modern
Looks a little bit like London. Really love it

There are many homeless. There are also many many many fake homeless on the corners trying to get money from people pulling up to red lights.
There's also no 4 billion people living in LA. In fact, there are not 4 billion people in entire USA.
Does Jeff Jarrett still sing here?
Because of the economy 100 people a day move to Nashville. That kinda sucks.
This city had gotten bigger in the last 4 years
