I'm surprised at how good an interview he is. Articulate, funny, no f-bombs, and sounds like he gives everyone a fair shake. I met Swede Hansen in 1974 and he was as articulate as anyone, and had the Voice of God for tone, depth, and clarity.

I know, especially since his son Barry is, or at least the last interview I saw with him was, horrible lol.

I remember Swede, he was tagged with Rip "The Profile" Hawk. Hawk mentored Ric Flair when he arrived in Mid Atlantic Wrestling.

@@rodzor We used to count the "I tell you what's" Barry said during his promos. Counted Tully Blanchard's too.

I used to love when Mulligan and Lanza wrestled in Houston in the early 70's!

In the Mid Atlantic area in the late 70's Blackjack was feuding with Jimmy Snuka with Buddy Rogers. Rogers called Mulligan "Hooligan" and it stuck with some of the fans that still resented his heel days.

George and Sandy Scott - The Flying Scotts - were HUGE stars in Calgary in the 1950's for several years. They were so popular they parlayed their celebrity into a successful restaurant in Calgary and they used to appear in promo photos with chef's hats on.

The 3rd toughest professional wrestler ever at least from 1960 to 2000 behind Haku #1 & Danny Hodge #2
