  • Vertical Blinds from Graywind purchased through Amazon. These will retract and tilt all built into the headrail, it does require a main voltage plug (no solar or low voltage is going to run this large of a window or door). Graywind was less than 1/4 the price of name brand options like Hunter Douglas that cost thousands.
EXCELLENT customer service, I got multiple emails to ensure the measurements were correct before they finished my order.

Please post an update for the Reolink doorbell, you seem like the first person to have one on UA-cam and you have disabled comments 😅

Um, not in a hurry. I took mine apart to inspect material durability and build quality. It's great, but I didn't do a great job with the reassembly and the camera focus is not perfect from my actions. My Reolink review relationship is focused on compatibility with Synology Surveillance Station and then whatever testing I want to do. With how many Ring and Nest Doorbells have problems with weather and UV light I wanted to take it apart. Oops.

@@RJ_Cormac okay, but there are a LOT of similar things for sell on Amazon. I’m impressed that this both opens and tilts the blinds as most of these seem to only do one or the other which is why I was trying to narrow it down.

@@gregg5958 Yes, it took me a long time to find one that did tilt and retract in a single device. And it's all in that top headrail.
search Amazon for "graywind motorized vertical blinds", it's going to have lots of custom options that will adjust the price depending on what you need. It gets down to 1/8 inch or something more accurate than necessary for me. But if you are doing an inside window frame mount it would need to be that accurate.
Then they'll ask what side you want the motor, and more questions. I think they are more popular in Asia or Europe, because the quality and precision was higher than I expected for a company on Amazon I'd never heard of in North America.
