1/3 manifesting generator. I’m currently investigating so many things and I switch from one thing to the next before finishing the first, but it’s because I’m just drawn to something else in the moment and find that the thing I pick up connects directly with the thing I just put down, but from a different perspective. I am in the middle of about 7 books and I pick each one up when it feels right. I cannot do one thing, like pick up a new book, and finish it before starting a new thing. Constantly following every new inspiration but I’m finding they are all contributing to the big picture. I have to go at it from many different directions so I can understand it from all angles. Even with all of the switching, I can feel it’s all heading to one place even though it feels like it’s expanding at the same time.

I pick up one thing and then another but they're all related and contribute to the big picture exactly that!! I do not do well in institutionalised classroom settings, where there's a rigid structure to the curriculum/syllabus

Without watching the video yet, as a 1/3 Projector myself I relate to your comment of living for growth, knowledge, expansion, understanding. It's like I can't stop. Nor do I "fit in" with normal people who will do things like watch a movie or a TV show or go to an amusement park or sports game. Those activities don't fit inside my wheelhouse.

Thank you for this. At 37, as a manifesting generator 1/3 male, I feel like I’m finally stepping into the higher power of this 1/3… funny how even when operating from an unconscious state early in one’s spiritual journey - insights about one’s purpose starts trickling in. I realised earlier on, before even knowing about Human Design, that I loved going deep into things and researching the heck out of everything, and always seeking truth. I even wanted to start a UA-cam channel called “Forever Student”…. And coming across this now, and having you say “forever student” as a trait of a 1/3 not only was a confirmation, but gave me shivers…. Thank you! 🙏🏽
I’m a 1/3 projector and I definitely feel a hunger for life. There’s been so many changes and I’m shifting into empowerment now that I reflect on how all those changes have brought me to a place of happiness🧡
Resonate 100% with this. The second I found out I was a 1/3 and learned what that was it just all made sense. I thrive off of finding the next exciting thing to learn about. After I’m done with a topic/thing I can’t wait to come upon the next thing I’m going to dive deep in. I also thrive on change as well. I’ve moved across country multiple times because it excites me lol! I love the adventure of what’s to come!

This brought me to tears (though I am on my moon & extra sensitive lol) it just makes me feel okay about myself. like I’m not alone in my sometimes messy way of going about life. It’s hard to explain cause I don’t consider myself the most intellectual person. I don’t know about a lot of things but my psyche is constantly probing things that are either happening at present or going over all the ways to solve things in the world (I have strong Aquarius in my astrological chart - so that humanitarian theme). I have strong common sense and the ability to pick up on a lot of things other people don’t, because im constantly on alert and analyzing my environments. For better or for worse.
1/3 generator. I resonate with this.
My life had been intense and full. Some could even be envious of it. It’s brought me all the lessons I’ve needed. Having the freedom to fully explore myself and what passions me, unhindered, is the most important thing to me.
Wow! I’m just learning about Human Design. I’m a 1/3 Manifesting Generator Solar Plexus. So much of what you said resonators with me, explains a lot about what I have been experiencing. This is me 100% as I write all of this down in my human design notes hahaha. I have always had this deep hunger for life and have never been someone to stay in one place for very long whether that be school, jobs, places I live, etc. Even growing up I never had a "dream job" and still don't because I want to try so many things and not just be stuck in one profession for years. It wasn't until the last year or so that I changed my mindset from happening to me to happening for me and it has changed my entire perspective on everything that has happened in the past.
1/3 Manifesting generator here! Getting to know more about the specifics of this Human Design path has been eye-opening and amazing, very in-depth and accurate! Most of my life I have been a keen investigator of many different things that I get interested in and then release, I felt that made me mediocre or lost. But now I feel making all this more conscious will allow me to be more in touch with my gut feeling in my emotional authority before making big decisions around new interests; allow me to make room for investigating, trials and errors, and then out of all that, responding to the options. I love studying myself to better myself, thank you for helping in this process!

I am a 1/3 Generator and I delved into studying Human Design in 2019 but got exhausted by it and took a break entirely from it this year. I love how you are experimenting with it and not a "pure" HD platform. This provides movement in experimenting with HD to how we individually resonate with it and not "you're supposed to do this". Refreshing!

Uhh I'm a 1/3 reflector...and ya.. you could say I've embraced the investigator. Im a Professional aircraft mechanic, and I really enjoy figuring out problems and fixing them. Not just at work eather. I always tell people " I'm a mechanic, I fix things. I just also happen to work on airplanes."

Loved and resonated with this, thank you. 1/3 emotional manifestor here. Very analytical, very open to different ideas, very much seeking foundations. I have sometimes struggled with feeling a sense of victimisation and "why is this happening to me?!". I love what you said about it happening *FOR* me. I have realised that a lot of the most valuable lessons I have learned have come through trial and error. I couldn't learn it in a book! It has helped me to make peace with the errors haha. There was no other way.
Yeeess!! This is so accurate! I’m a MG, emotional, 1/3. It’s so funny I remember when I was pregnant that I was thinking a lot, and I mean a whoole lot, about what it would feel like to give birth. And everyone I talked to told me that it’s the worst pain you’ll ever feel, but no one could describe it better than that. And I was like, geez that’s just not sufficient information, how and what kind of pain and the differences between the phases during labour etc? I can’t wait to experience this myself so I can understand and describe this better. And since I’m a gemini sun you know I do that extremely well ;) love dismantling and communication, and those in combination - that's one of my faves.
I’m a generator 1/3, and to answer your question, I more often feel disempowered when facing a new thing I know I’m oriented towards researching. BUT I believe that’s because I’m just starting my human design journey and not fully living in my design. I’m sure once I get more familiar with living in my design that “yes” will be easier.
I love your way of speaking, and your energy seems so vulnerable and joyful, you almost brought tears to my eyes. I don’t usually UA-cam comment, but I’ve been on an intensive (ly painful and joyous) healing journey, and I felt the need to share my love with you! I'm a 1/3 generator, and that was wild, I love it! I just learned about human design recently, but I like it so far, seems very useful! I'm taking a workshop tomorrow called "The Foundations of Human Design for the Astrologically Minded" and am excited to learn more

I'm a 1/3 Projector. Just getting into Human Design, thanks to my 6/2 Generator partner. This is the first 1/3 video that I've resonated with, the others I've seen seemed so......... down, lol. The shadow aspects you spoke about definitely make sense for me, which is why I think your video hit different, because that's not my "norm", but the other videos I've seen made it seem as if that was the main aspect of being, specifically a 3. I thrive with MOST challenges, and never really have the "why is everything happening to me" mentality but yeah, the other aspects of the shadow definitely appears every so often. Now I feel more hopeful with my journey with learning about Human Design. Thanks. :)

Hi Kelly, thanks a lot for this inspiring video! I am a reflector 1/3... just found out a few days ago. I am now digging deep into HD :-) and came across your video. It resonates a lot with me. Especially the hunger for life... I am the person with the open eyes *lol*.
And I am also the person who is digging for gold even when I am deep into a very bad crisis in my life (when others would say "why me?") I keep searching for the meaning or the good in it.
Thanks for pointing that out. Sometimes I kept doubting myself and thought I am naive or might not see the real tragedy in it that others would see. Maybe my reflector nature takes things lightly in a way - child-like somehow. In a very positive meaning.

AHHH this spoke to me so so so so much. I literally am always telling people my biggest fear in life is ending up 80 years old and not having experienced my life, not seizing every opportunity and just being able to say I experienced THAT because I wanted to. Hey Kelly! I’d love to hear your thoughts on 1/3 manifesting generators! I try to interpret myself as an investigator that consciously works toward what I want. I’m on a journey of healing and self-development as I want to improve my awareness of my authentic feelings and really channel my inner manifestation side as I seem to rely more on the generator side.
My inner 1/3 will investigate but sometimes can lean more towards the “martyr”-seemingly a need for validation?

I enjoyed how you presented this. I’m still super new to this whole human design stuff. To be totally honest I love space but have never really been super into astrology. I am soon going on an ayahuasca journey in about a month and found this topic during my research. It’s been quite alarming to say the least of how accurate this depicts me as a 1/3 Projector. I saw alarming because I have always also had a strong belief in not putting myself into a “bucket” of sorts. I actually had to stop the video when you said researcher because I am a software engineer and that’s like my job lmao all of this is new and somewhat scary to be honest but thank you for sharing and helping me understand more. Still lots of more understanding to be done but it is interesting lol. I guess it’s just me being a 1/3 lol thanks again!! Definitely moving for me.

I never comment on videos usually... but I'm a reflector 1:3, and oh man you just cut right to the core of me 😂 I have to deep dive on everything. Figuring out why people are the way they are, why the world is the way it is... I love reading up on mythology and ancient history and how they shaped the world. I'm a MG 1/3 and I do feel like I'm trying to figure something out. Like life is one big puzzle created for us to figure out. I can find answers to questions I have in the most random places, so I'm always on the look for new clues. I have a motorized throat so my sacral gets triggered if I find what I am looking for. It's like a metal detector. I don't know what I am looking for but I know it when I see it.
