This video is all about the 2/4 profile in the Human Design system, the Hermit/Opportunist personality. The journey of a 2/4 is about learning to balance your need for introspective exploration with external sharing and connection. Follow along on the video if you want to learn more! yess I am here! A Manifestor 2.4 with a Inner authority ego Thank you for this video!😍 i am figuring out al the different parts of my human design and this one is really clear and it really resonates with whom i am. i do different things. During the week I am a teacher& social worker in a elementary & highschool. Performer as a host vocalist/ dancer. A field where network is so important but Laaaawd know i love my alone time.😍 balancing that out aint always easy but i found my way by informing better and expressing on time. This Journey of self is fascinating and i am injoying the process, thank you u for u guidance😃

My husband is a MG 2/4 and I wish I understood his and my G 1/3 designs 30 years ago. I would have appreciated his unique qualities instead of taking his hermit time personally as being ignored or neglected. Thank you for this video.

Lol gas us up!! 😂 I’m a 2/4, and at 31 I think I’m really finally honoring my 2 line! I was called a “social butterfly” as a kid and i think I did end up around people who drained me. I didn’t feel like alone time was something to be valued. Now I love tapping into my hermit now, and making that a conscious choice. ❤

This was by far one of the best 2/4 videos I’ve come across! I really enjoyed hearing the gifts and the shadows and how they show up! I may be biased but I seriously think us 2/4’s are the best lol
I am 2/4 projector. It Is very difficult, for me, to stay with the "right" people. Infact I agree with you when you said that if we have bad relationships or not a good one, we prefer to isolate ourself. I stayed isolated for a long time but I noticed that I can't stay alone. I don't know how to Say...when i am alone , I want to have people around. But when I am with people I want to stay alone😂. Maybe I must find the right people and right environment so I could have a balance with stay alone( and stay well with myself) and stay with others.
I think Is very important to understand the value of good relationships. If you saw often, when you were a child, some toxic relationships around you, you must do a very good job to take care of yourself in a healty way. Because you Will attract or stay in the same relationships of the childhood. And the profile 2/4 Is very carried to isolation. But I think a good isolation Is when you feel that you want to be alone. Not when you are disgusted from the people and your experiences with them and you avoid contact with people. I think this Is the "Shadow" of my profile.

I am a 2/4 Reflector, this helps. I been having to do the work to not feel so worn out and find a balance between having that small circle that helps so much, plus helping the people that come to me for help.
Thank you! This was so helpful and I really resonated with so much of it and feel really seen as a 2/4. Particularly I resonated with learning to be discerning about the energetic exchange. I really struggle with being becoming burnt out from not using my energy in a discerning way. I also can tend toward too much isolation and then falling into depressive moods and hopelessness. I can feel like what’s the point of connecting with people, when I just end up being super drained. I’m seeing some evidence of the right people coming into my life though and so this was really validating to both honour the hermit and honour the right connections with people will come through. Eii, I am a 2/4 manifestor. Ideas just come with ease and often they are so beautiful they bring out tears. as a manifestor it is natural for me to put things out into the world and create. but i often lack they power to keep going or or push this idea on the long term. i am bad with finances and money feels fake, but i guess you need it to keepcreating, haha and need to find a way/someone to financialise my life . i get very excited about thoughts and ideas and this is contagious to those around, and they want to be part of the process, but I easiky feel like some people will suck the eneregy without giving back anything "useful"... I tend to be quite exclussive. I long very very much for good and deep and caring relationships (fiendships, family...) and I get hurt when I perceive people don't want to invest in making our time together a magical experience. Bringing people together and community are fundamental. Magic, play, time in peace, giving and feeling loved are so so so essential for my wellbeing.

I just heard about Human Design today!! 🤯🤯🤯 I immediately looked up my profile. I'm a 2/4 Projector. This is only the 2nd video I've watched about it and I've been crying it's so accurate!! I have always felt that struggle between Hermit & Networker! Within the last 18 months I have developed the ability to cut off people who suck my energy. NOW??? I feel so validated in so many ways!!! 💝 Thank you for helping start my journey!!

Thanks for the helpful video! I’m a 2/4 projector and am fully aware of the power of my number 2 but really feel that I need more of the number 4 quality as well. And it’s funny because what you are describing as shadowy for 2/4s (that there might be too many people attracted by their purity and light) is what I am actually desiring: I know that I have a lot to give and my energy is unique but it doesn’t really attract people so far. 🤷♂️ I would actually wish to attract more people who can benefit from my energy… 😅 Yes, as you are saying: I wish for that „healthy exchange of energy“. ☺️ Good Impuls: creating an online community where I share my insights. Maybe I should do that 💪🏼

Kelly, you gave me my first HD reading years ago and so grateful for you!! I'm struggling with being a 2/4 on social media. I share my wisdom and light (consistently for years) and it's crickets and then I feel discouraged and unrecognized. Perhaps a community membership is where it's at for me to share my gifts!
I’ve seen community memberships work reallllly well for 2/4’s! Have you created one yet? It provides that space to nurture the consistency and larger collective “mission” that the 4 line does so well, and craves!

My take away is to stop shaming myself for not stepping in and filling a leadership/friend role when approached.
I’m aware that I crave a tribe, but for some reason I find myself resisting or running from group participation and activities.
What a conundrum: to never have enough time alone while also wanting to be a part of something bigger.
I just left the classroom where I LOVED teaching high school kids.
Now I just need to give myself time to regain stamina and clarity to find my compass.

I'm struggling with being a 2/4 Emotional Generator, it seems like my whole life is waiting and hoping to get called out, especially as a guy with the pressure to initiate. I've been through that process of realizing the people are around me are not 'my people'(also open g center) but feel adrift not knowing how to find/create my tribe/network.
Same here Dennis. Feels like being at zero point. The only way is up I am re- starting my online business (after struggles with toxic people). Nothing left to lose but also a bit scared I'll have too little hermit time left when I will get great clients...
I have the same profile as you: 2/4 emotional generator with an open G centre and throat. How I’ve found my people was by going within, focusing on me and not the external world. The external world is nothing but a distraction if you haven’t learned how to use the external world to understand your Self. Short: the external world is a reflection of your inner. Focus on yourself, become the version of yourself you aspire to be, and you’ll attract like minded people.
That advice definetly makes sense. I've been aware of human design since my early 20s now I am 30 so I have been on the not self deconditioning journey for a long time. I have the sacral, root and emotional center defined, everything else open with heart/ego having no gates at all. So I am afraid I am going to spend my whole life working on my inner life, without having a chance to contribute to the external world, essentially living like a monk. 2/4s are meant to have a network connects them to the external world but what if you don't have that network, if feels like an unfortunate loop that I can't break out of.

I am a 2/4 Manifestor, professional artits and throughout my life, I've experienced many highs and lows. This was largely due to the stark contrast I've always felt between the 2 and 4 aspects of my nature, but I never understood why. Despite being in tune with my heart, I often prioritized serving others, leading to repeated burnouts, completely drained and sad, by not following my path but shining my light for others path. However, since discovering my design three weeks ago, there has been a significant changes in my life already. I'm learning every day. Your video and insights are incredibly beautiful and pure, and I am deeply grateful for them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🥰💫
I am currently in the process of going out of that shadow and reclaiming my power and redescovering myself, so I like it how you put it, bc I can understand my pain better ❤️

I am a 2/4 and I completely confirm that I need my solitude, I've ended relationships because they didn't give me my alone time and solitude.
The things that you said about the hermit part, I couldn't describe it better, that is so me, and still some people don't see it.
The problem I have is a lot of people see the other side, the extroverted side, and they just want to be around me and be my friends and hang out with me, but they somehow don't understand this other part, but may be they feel it.
Mhmmm. I can hear that, totally. A tricky dance. But perhaps as you lean more into lovingly advocating for your authentic needs, your relationships will rearrange and reappropriate so that you have people in your life who honor your authentic essence? Perhaps perhaps!

thanks for this video. i'm a 2/4 emotional MG who loves to spend hours alone writing and meditating. but then i immediately feel the need to dive into my network and have my "audience." the more and more i think about transitioning my work into becoming a full-time writer the more i realize i'm currently where i need to be with my balance of hermit and network.

Recently I have discovered Human design. And wow what an experience I find myself in now. I so resonate with this. And try to find the balance with astrology. Before this I was the Scorpio of October and now... Now it's time to understand everything again and gain confidence in how I'm going to process this new information. I recognize the light for others enormously. I call this energy vampires. A few years ago I noticed that there is something about me, that low energy fields want to refuel themselves. So I worked step by step on that(still).
So for now everything is shifting in my head, body and soul. And I love it🙏❤️💛 Thank you beautiful soul

I never understood before why i wanted to be alone so much but why i also always end up in groups.
Definitely going to honor my hermit side by giving myself the alone time, recognize if people are just there to take some of my light or if it's reciprocal, and also create my online community to honor my 4 side. I'm going to have to listen to this a few more times because something new keeps sinking in every time i do.

Thank you, that was sooo good. My husband has almost the exact profile as me. Everything except I have open taste and he has sound and music digestion. I have always seen and appreciated the generator qualities in him much more than I have in myself. He also has not realy appreciated these qualities in me. He seems to have them to the extreme. Is this a bad thing?
