The pub mentioned used to be The Dog at Over and the disused railway used to form part of the cross country run course used by the King's School Gloucester. Sadly my memories of this are not too happy but it is amazing to see this area again. Please keep up the good work - all these walks around Gloucester area bring back many happy memories.
Brilliant - we’ve done the Ledbury end, from the mainline down part of the old canal, so was interesting to see Gloucester end. Amazing how Canal Navigations were easily converted to Railways, or Vicey Versa back in the days of Pick and Shovel.🤔?..
Another cracking video PW. If you get a chance check out maps.nls.uk on the left of the split screen category England and Wales OS six inch 1888-1913 you will see that the track bed does not always use the canal route and on three loops of the canal the track takes a straight line, between Over and Rodway, also note the Old Mill Race from the Leadon to Over Corn Mill. While your on it check out the OS 25 inch 1873-1888 map you'll find NO railway to Ledbury. It's black and white but the water is painted blue. Plenty to get your teeth into PW during lockdown.

Found it, Filmed it. Got thrown off it. Love it! Not quite an urban explorer though. Good history. Great countryside. Wonderful film. Thank you
And it was cold!. P.W.
Pro trick: watch series at flixzone. I've been using it for watching lots of of movies recently.

We live in much softer times for sure Donni. Ron
Between Highnam and Newent, take a look at Rodway Hill, Rudford, Barber's Bridge section. The Wysis Way follows the railway here.
Thanks Mark. Ron
That`s a shame, you get so far then zonk! "mine, bugger off!"
Yep, once again. P.W.
