    Transcript:
With Automation Blocks you can convert captions in Premiere Pro to markers and vice versa. So no matter if you prefer captions or markers - you can work with any of them easily.
In this sequence I have a subtitle track and in the Captions section of the text panel, I can export those to an SRT file.
Once this is done, I choose the Automation Blocks tool "Import Markers from SRT File" and choose the SRT file I exported here.
If I run the tool, the markers are created here in the active sequence and the marker titles contain the caption texts.
If you want to do the opposite, namely creating captions from markers, just choose the tool "Export markers to SRT file". Here you can choose the location and name of the SRT file you want to create. And if you run the tool, it creates that SRT file for you.
Note that by default both the export and the import tool use the name of the markers as caption texts. If you prefer to use the marker comment instead, you can change that setting here.
And that's how easy it is to switch from captions to markers of from markers to captions with Automation Blocks.
Also note that these are just two of many tools included in Automation Blocks. So please download the trial and play with the tools in the library to see what else we have to offer to speed-up your workflow in Premiere Pro.
