- Our expectations for Hermanus were blown out of the water! We'll never forget the line we were welcomed with at one of the local hangouts: "are you from around here?" "No, we're from Jo'burg" "Ah, welcome to the promised land!"
Hermanus immersed us in natural beauty, showed us breathtaking viewpoints, produced exquisite wines and welcomed us with a community market.
Even though we doubled our usual stay on this road trip, spending 4 days here, we barely touched sides... Hermanus, you can expect to see us again!

BVG how awkward is it at every restaurant when you gotta go behind a wall to do a dope "Reveal shot" or getting stunning shots of the food but having to get into some bizarre position to nail it just right? I watch those insane dope shots and think to myself; the people who are there have no idea the Genuis that is happening right in front of them because it also probably looks silly if it's being done right!

That's an oddly specific part of South Africa to miss, but we get you. It's always the small things, the random moments and happy memories that bring on the nostalgia... South Africa ain't going anywhere doe! We (and the Oysters) will be here to welcome you back whenever that happens to be 🇿🇦🧡
And then to your last point... THANK YOU 😂😂 I never have the opportunity to really talk about this 😂 We get the strangest looks when we are doing our thing. I'm behind a wall crouching and moving back and forth while Tammy rearranges the tables and has to take the first chip a few times 😂 At least we have been a conversation starter for many of the quieter tables on our journey 🤷♀️🤷♂️ Just to clarify, in case it wasn't clear: yes, we definitely look silly 🙈
