- this is a cover version to the theme of one of the best cartoons i ever watched while growing up. My children love the show also especially its current season so i took the time to put this little vid together. please enjoy :)

I agree! I am thankful for my mom who showed the series to me when I was a kid, If I ever get one I will 100% show this series to them!!
I keep revisiting all the TV shows of my childhood on youtube and seeing comments saying things like "the 80s were a magical time" and getting confused because I was born in 2005... I'm beginning to realize my parents basically just showed me the things they watched when they were children lol

@@MindWipe these cartoons helped me in my readings, in Portugal we used to watch these cartoons with the original french language and subtitles in portuguese, so because i was so interested in the story i had to read the subtitles, we didnt had dubbed voices in portuguese at that time because we had our own cartoons already, I was about 6/7 years old

thankyou.. one thing i aimed for with this was to make it honest and true to the cartoon theme by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy and honor the style sang by Noam Kaniel.. im glad you liked my take honoruing that :)
This has to be my greatest discovery on the internet. All throughout my adulthood, I have had like flashbacks of this song and this cartoon. Until I took it upon myself to search....This theme song brings sweet nostalgia of my earliest memories of childhood.
So many memories coming back missing my childhood life for an adventure like this....
in my case it was in the 80's watching it in the UK on BBC1 :) this show as well as Willy Fog and Belle and Sebastian

I used to love this cartoon , As a 90s kid I still think the cities of Gold is El dorado.... and I think somewhere somehow, this place exists
That song is going to be stuck in my head all fraggin day.

A truly epic anime of its time (1982-1983). I think of it as the spiritual predecessor to Nadia, the Secret of Blue water (1990-2003).

yeah i know .. out of all the popular cartoons Transformers, MASK, GI JOE, My little Pony ETC.. im surprised this never got a toy line (or going further Ulysees 31, The Racoons or Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds (although i see they have done a remake of the latter).. all great shows and should have got a toy line given how popular they were world wide

This cartoon was on the bbc over here in the UK 🇬🇧 I think at weekends but the song I never forget but guys listen to terrahawks theme from the 80s but I will be re writing about a remake of a film soon as poss from the 80s tc Burnley lancs here England 🇬🇧
it was actually every day for its run on Childrens BBC with the Broom Cupboard with Phillip Schofield and Gordan the Gopher.. two others they showcased at the time was Around the World with Willy Fog and Ulysees 31 :).. for a brief run also though not as well recieved was Bell and Sebastian .. Cities of Gold though was the most memorable

The English theme was written by Haim Saban & Shuki Levy (famouse for pretty much every nostalgic cartoon theme of the era)
and was originally Performed by Noam Kaniel (whos vocal style i based my cover on)

tout à fait correct et c'est aussi pour ça que j'ai la saison 2 des Cités d'or modernes aussi... entre Ulysse et Dogtanian etc.. j'ai adoré ce genre de dessins animés :)
@@MindWipe oui les dessins animés des années 80 et 90 d'origine japonaise sont excellent par excellent moi j'ai aussi beaucoup aimé les séries animé de nippon animation dans leurs section world masterpiece theater avec des dessins animés inspiré et repris de romans européen comme princesse sarah , tom sawyer , les quatre filles du docteur march , flo et les robinson suisses ..... et tant d'autre la grande époque
