I'm completely dumbfounded. Getting almost 600 pounds from the ground to over your head is fucking godlike. Well done times 1,000 to this man.
steroids
@@joys8634 ok man, you take steroids and do this
@@joys8634 steroids dont make muscle instantly appear on your body. Also this guy clearly isn't on steriods. No offence to his physique but its obvious. Also, enhancements arent allowed in competitions. Stop trying to undermine his hard work, your insecurities are showing
@@rbmedia8798 completely agree , maybe it’s the reputation with Russian athletes haha 😅 but even so no respect or credit should be taken away for this lifter , truly magnificent .
Obviously you’ve never personally used steroids and have no idea how they actually work. Obviously you don’t understand how ridiculously easy it is to beat drug tests, especially at this level. Obviously. No hate.
Man ..the speed at which he gets himself under the bar is just amazing
No dude the way he front squat it was RIDICULOUS! It looked like a warm up lol sheesh
It looked so.....effortlessly. I had to watch it like 6 times
the best "under bar position" i've ever seen
Lasha did it even more effortlessly though.
@@KeojiMaru pppp
2:45 even mark Henry was shocked
Was that actually.
Him?
@@hassenalwaely6215 yeah
@@hassenalwaely6215 yup
Was gonna point out the legend too but then I saw your comment
So I managed 70kg after 3 weeks of attempts today, there abouts my bodyweight, give or take a few K, I was proud for a little while...
Not Me Dude you shouldn't compare your strength to a top level athlete. That's like comparing how tall you are to the tallest man in the world.... There is always SOMEBODY who is bigger than you/stronger/faster/smarter/etc.... Just focus on your own process and get lost in the feeling.
Brett Mutchler yeah. Just accept that your weak
@@spiddyman0079 Obvious troll is obvious. Sorry man i'm not biting the bait
Brett Allen it’s a live one.
Brett Allen fish 🎣 *give her some line*
He made that look effortless. What an absolute unit
264kg, overhead, that's insanely impressive.
It really makes you wonder what the physical limit is for the human body without some kind of genetic manipulation.
Невероятно! Такой вес взят! Аж гриф от тяжести загнулся буквой с а Алексей выдержал!

i honestly cant even imagine throwing close to my deadlift 1RM above my head im pretty sure my body would disintegrate
2:45 is that Mark Henry in the audience? I know he was a big time Olympic lifter but I didn't think he would watch a comp in person...
+emp100k yes i saw it too :D
he was an olympic lifter. Not a big time one tho
André Monteiro he won the world strongest man. What do you mean not a big one?
Not a big olympic lifter. He was a better strongman than an olympic lifter
He was a poor Olympic lifter!
4:01 he seems nice
I surely hope so tom monk
For the Americans to lazy to look up the conversion, that's 582 lbs and change... You're welcome. Lol
Thanks buddy
Liberty Jefferson1776 yea thanks man, I didn’t have the privilege of learning the SI units in school
Liberty Jefferson1776 thanks
Justin Nguyen to make it a little easier, multiply by 2, then add 10% of that double number to convert kg to pounds. Obviously not perfect, but very damn close
Jokes on you, people who use the metric system are the lazy ones
НАСТОЯЩИЙ МУЖИК ,ВСЕХ БЛАГ ТЕБЕ ДОРОГОЙ И ПАПЕ.
The strongest man. Congratulations.
Everytime I watch these athletes im just flabbergasted at the feat. Bravo!
Definitely no need to apologize for your English. I speak English and fail English in school. Lol. So I guess I don't know any languages. Thank you for sharing.
This is amazing. Feat of human determination. Looking for motivation in my life, this made me tear up a little.
That's pretty much like lifting a bar with 6 plates on each side over your head if you use metal plates.
Shout out to Mark Henry in the audience, you can tell he really likes Strongman competition from his Luke Thomas interview
In America we love and respect you Aleksey Lovchev !! .... You will be the first C&J - 272.5 kg. - (600 lb.) .... GOOD LUCK ALEKSEY !!!
Impressive. My pb deadlift is 125kg. I got some work to do man.
One of the very strongest humans to ever exist. 💪
That was fantastic such a strong man
What a momentous accomplishment. Nearly 600 lbs from the floor over your head. Most men can't even get that much weight even one inch off the floor.
Just think, this man was just able to raise 264kg from the ground 4 feet over his head fucking nuts dude
NOW THAT'S POWER!!!!
Y’all need to STOP comparing your PRs with anyone on this level.
"Russian Aleksey Lovchev, who was stripped of his 2015 World Championships super heavyweight title and with it the world’s strongest man title, had his four-year doping ban appeal denied by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Lovchev, 27, tested positive for ipamorelin, a growth hormone releasing peptide, at the 2015 World Championships."
Tarranenko lifted 266kgs in 1986. It's pure chicanery that his lift is no longer the world record. You can see him perform this lift in Australia here on UA-cam
you are not allowed to use drugs he used to lift those kind weight any more!!!
Yeah because nowadays you can get much better drugs than Tarranenko had
@@artas9371 People always bring this BS, while you are totally right.
If anything Taranenko, Pisarenko, Kurlovch would probably have lifted even more with today's drugs, strength & conditionning knowledge etc
and if I recall , Lasha missed his opener 200kg snatch here , but that would be his last snatch miss except his 221 WR attempt .....
Me: ‘let me convert that to pounds and compare that to myself...’
Inner me: “...don’t do that...”
xD
Huge lift!!!
Who’s here after Lasha did this?
Ha! Me!
With How easy lasha made it look, he's got this record in the bag.
@@chronometa lasha weighs 20 kilos more than aleksey, of course it's going to be a lot easier to him
Super
forward 5 years and its all Lasha domination from Georgia !
Go back 30 years and they are all still playing catch-up to Taranenko
Amazing!!!!!
That is insane strength
That’s 580+ pounds he’s swinging over his body and then seconds late jerk it straight up and maintain it leveled lifted. Holy Jesus mother of god!!!!!
Держи Леха держи!!!
Looking at how I can barely do 60 kg (and without the jerk at the end) I'm amazed
Dam that was Insane. 👍
Taranenko clean and jerk : 266 kg !
This recession won't break for the next 20 years.
Magnificent, wow!!!!
That was sick
unbelievable :0
#1 Leonid Taranenko
Unbelievable.
Hello, what is the name of the background song at the beginning of the video? A young lady sings it, it is a dance song from the 90's, thank you !!!
talent, skill, determination, work ethic, drugs
Impressed I am!
Chuck Bush vis labi
Lasha Talakhadze just lifted this same weight, but his counts.
Lasha talaxadze rekord 265 kg
Yeah i mean "his counts" means something like "he's not been proven under drugs... yet"
Lasha is not testet positive now.
У Талахадзе не было ещё 267 так что 1й Ловчев щас
@@user-ks2ks1hq2r ну 264 тоже было
So Good
Алексей КРАСАВА!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ridiculous power. Damn
Juuso - why do you have a profile picture of Chris Taylor being lifted by that Russian?
Красавчик👍
WOW IF THIS GUY CAN LIFT ALL THIS WEIGHT IMAGINE HOW MUCH WEIGHT A 350 POUND AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDER COULD LIFT WITH ALL THEIR MUSCLE?
Bodybuilders are quite weak on competition day having properly starved and dehydrated themselves for that extra deep fat loss for extra muscular definition. They are so starved even eating a chocolate can affect their shred. Plus you can't be that lean at such low body fat without it affecting your max lifts and athletic performance. Not to mention how far all of them are on drugs.
Definitely not something you want to do when lifting for a world record.
mark henry couldn't believe his eyes
Ну просто МОЛОДЕЦ!!!
Unbelievable
GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!
2:44 Is that Mark Henry??
+Dev In Yes
no its uncle phil
And also Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) next to him.
No lol
Dev In this is the comment I want to write now "is that Mark Henry 2:46
King 👑 Lasha Talakhadze from Georgia!!!
Finnish sounds pretty cool tbh, I remember the numbers - koksi kuusi nelja

Deadlifts R 4 those who cannot put weights above their head. I O word's frustrated weight_lifters. Likewise anyone of normal health could run a Marathon, but similarly how many could EVER snatch 100 kilos. We are a most underrated and unique sport. I was lucky enough to get gold in the Comm Games in 82 Brisbane. Today s performances are mind blowing.
Geoff Laws IWF 1 referee.
Doing more than I can deadlift 💀
beast
264 is amazing but stil 266 Taranenko is best lift in history
How 264 new record, if someone lifted 266 ?
@@beastturk7446 Because the restructured the weight categories and removed his record which is utter bs, 30 years ago they were much stronger than today even with all the tech and improvements in drugs etc. But due to the restructuring of the classes its like the records don't exist any more.
www.t-nation.com/training/tip-lifters-were-stronger-30-years-ago
what is even more crazy is Taranenko nearly locked out 270kg in another event and ran out of time for another try, also he got sick of being paid peanuts to be the greatest Olympic lifter in the world and pushing his body for no real reason, he also made some comment that the russians did not like and stopped him competing outside russia and effectively ended his career.
Такого парня зарубили сволочи! Где он хоть сейчас?
Чемпионат России выиграл недавно
Crazy
I must go to the gym immediately to look like him.
Лёха красавчик !!!!
How much weight in freedom units?
Fat Mark Henry at 2:46. Mark is a monster. If anyone out there has never seen his powerlifting footage, I highly recommend you watch it.
Henry was already monstrously massive as a 10 year old, as opposed to all of the 400-lbers today who were basketball players in high school before they started using. Why do I mention this?: To call attention to the crucial difference between drug-tested & lifetime-drug-free. Cycling off of steroids before tests means nothing: it ain't in your blood or urine, but the muscle's already been built. My point: Lifetime-huge Henry's lifts are the ONLY ones that can be safely assumed as lifetime-drug-free. Yes, even his supposedly mediocre bench-press, & "13th" place-total in weightlifting have likely never been surpassed by a lifetime-clean lifter. In weightlifting, he made it to the Olympics. Is that the 'meet' you're referring to? He certainly wasn't 13th in the US, or they would've sent someone else. He's still the record-holder for the "super-total of the 3 power lifts + 2 Olympic lifts, and has been for decades. Did Alexeyev ever do a pull-up? Let's all say it: "Hell no."
Right, sure. That's why Terry did his lift at a pro-wrestling event, and never anywhere else. Do you understand what that means? (Hint: The results are scripted, for the matches, *and* the lifts. Aside from that, Terry's one of the most obvious steroid users.
Good Good Very good Beautiful Beautiful The best Fabulous BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO Congratulations 👍👍👍
Hoping that I can deadlift that before my 20s is over
264 kg jan teper shum...bravo miku
This is awesome, look at the bar .... this shit is extremely heavy
Leonid Taranenko. That's all.
Bro just imagine
"hey bro whats your bench"
"265"
"oh nice"
"kilos"
Geez , that makes me kringe thinking i would fall backwards , 580 lbs!
Donald Pump could do that with one hand. Of course, Castleberry would double it.
I partially lifted 268.1 kgs at work to save my balls some next strength deep down inside just came out with the sole purpose of saving my balls it was only for like 1 second and lifted it only a tiny bit, I'm skinny as fuck with a little muscle, there is no way I'm even close to as strong as this guy so there most have been some special way I lifted that pallet up.
264 kg..... UMBELIEVABLE......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this guy was tested positive for PED's after this . Rezazadeh Still has the record.
Which medicine u use?
Awesomeness cooool
geez. that was something!

why wrist bent backwards so much? isn't that a risk or fracture for so much weight? anyway great lift.
