I don’t care what people say, I like this games battle system. Go on kill me.
I can't say I don't like it, but I can say it doesn't work. That's why I like color splash so much, the system is great when woven in into the level design. It allows propper planning of what cards to bring and when to use them. Saddly the game is to easy to have it really happen that way. That's not a problem for me though because I like my games ridiculous easy. Lego games for life.
Yeah even though there are no partners I still love it because exploring can actually help a lot more because there are stickers everywhere! And now you can strategize what you wanna do! It’s really creative and fun IMO.
As flawed and tedious as it was, it was new, and I can respect that.

Make it so stickers aren't consumable
That's a genius idea, actually. The only way in which they could be removed is through selling or tossing them. This way, it is still possible to get certain better stickers in later parts of the game.
Watercolor Kirby My thoughts exactly, he should also make real items like Sleepy Sheep and HP Drain. And maybe make stickers useable outside of battle, like mushroom.
2:14 funny enough a new trick (found by koollname) makes it possible to skip this cutscene, so I guess it's now possible to softlock here without hacking!
I wonder if it was possible to edit the textures & restore the TTYD enemy designs among other things.

yes, go to the store, buy some paper, color your own paper Mario assets, stick them to the screen and you have got a better paper Mario.
On the start screen, put ↑↑↓↓→↑←↓↑↑↑←↓↑→→↑→↑↓→←→↓↑←↓→↓→→↓→→→↓→←→↓→↑↓→←→↓→←→↓↑→→←→↓→→ and then A B B A and then you get to play as the provalone ranger with pronto as kirsti.You'll know it works when they start playing king koopa qoutes.

3. Sell the game cartridge.
4. Buy a different Paper Mario game.
5. Put the disc in the compatible home console, and enjoy.

why did they decide to make the HP 2 bytes? there's really no reason to do that when you only get 100HP in the game max.
and i wonder why it's 18 pages specifically. there's 60 slots per page which totals to 1080 slots, still well below 65k
they arent stored as a number so it has nothing to do with 65k. the stickers just go in the "scraps". after 18 pages theres no more scraps pages so the game crashes

Moonjumping is an incredibly basic code that is almost always on lists of video game cheat codes. The fact it isn't in Paper Mario: Sticker Star's cheat list is kinda bizarre.

I like it. Playing it oh god no, but it's good for my throne of video games. It makes it separate from a simple chair of video games.
Mystery Man I liked it. I felt the battle mechanics were fun and unique. It also made you go out of the way to find things. Although I did miss the traditional partners the one we got was fine IMO. Kersti felt like a Navi with more personality and less annoyance. The thing stickers were all fun, creative and unique. Those are definitely the highlight of the game. The final boss being a multi stage fight didn’t bother me because it felt like I had to use my stickers wisely. I also loved the poem theatre cutscenes after you beat a boss. I liked how each boss had a weakness you could exploit in the battle which forced a lot of trial and error into play. Speaking of the exploits I liked how in the final fight you have to use certain sticker to exploit the bosses weakness and move on to the next phase. As for music I find it very enjoyable and I come back to some of themes notably megasparkle goomba’s theme. The graphics are pleasant and I loved the emphasis on cardboard rather than straight paper. The game felt balanced in terms of difficulty which not everyone agrees with but I personally thought it was good. Overall this game really was fun and I would definitely recommend if you want something different but still also want paper mario.
